I don't think I've posted on this thread every before (shame on me!) but I just had to tell you about Monday ...
Did you know that at Subway there is a double meat option?
I used to think there was no better sandwich than the meatball marinara, but how wrong I was. The double meatball marinara is truly spectacular. On herbs and cheese bread. Go minimalist on the veg and have sprinkly cheese instead of the processed stuff (good for structural rigidity - important when it comes to eating it). Chipotle Southwest sauce works perfect.
We did work out the calories later. Are you all sitting down? What we are dealing with here is a 2,000+ calorie sandwich. [msntongue]
Now I can't say for sure if it is healthy or not, but the following day I did my fastest 2k time ever on the Erg and today I think I did the fastest kilometer in the pool that I've ever done. Is this a result of the energy from the miracle sandwich, or was it down to guilt???

I love than sandwich Steve but it disintegrates when you try to eat it and I always end up covered in it. I need a knife and fork I think!

and to leave a message for Fiona, i hope it all went well and you are not in too much pain, here's to a speedy recovery [grouphug] take care [grouphug]

Quite good at SW today - managed to lose another 1.5lb. Hopefully not long now and I will be at my target weight, baring any lapses on the way.
Missed Fiona's post yesterday evening and haven't had an opportunity to wish her all the best for today - the thought is there anyway.
Diary for today
28g Oats so simple + 100ml ss milk HEB HEA
2 Spinach & Ricotta sausages with small salad, plus some grapes
SW chips again but cooked with just a spray of less cal olive oil spray, 1/2 pack M & S Count us in mediterranean vegetables in tomato sauce 1.5 syns. Grapes, melon, pineapple with muller light
1.5 syns
Steve, thankfully, as a vegetarian, I won't be tempted by the Subway meatball marinara

Steve bad boy posting that information on a slimming thread!!!!
Well done Brenda[clap][clap][clap]
I also lost 1.5 lbs this week a wee bit disappointed with this as I thought I had lost more - Ho Hum it's still a loss and it's now 24lbs lost. 9lbs to go to club 10 - went to see GP today and I am borderline diabetic and he said if I lose 10% of my weight it will help no end. It is quite difficult at the moment as I am feeling very down because George is finding it very difficult to get another job - very trying times[msnscared]

Well done Pamela [clap][clap][clap]
Had an easy dinner in the end! Pasta with a bit of grated cheese (I was working hard on some curtains so hubby made it for me!!) nice and easy!

Well done Pamela - 24lbs is a great achievement[clap][clap][clap] Keep up with the weight loss which should improve your health [msnsmile]
Hope things improve with the job searching for George[grouphug].
