i'm going to the yorkshire wolds Jackie staying in a log cabin
it's gonna be very quiet, well at least until my children get there!
there are only 25 cabins set on the shore of a 6 acre lake and it's all very picturesque
i'm all packed now so i can spend a few mins on here before saying bye bye[msnsmile]

Hi everyone,
It looks like I've missed saying goodbye to everyone. I hope you all have a fantastic time. I'm soooo jealous of everyone whos gone (or about to go) to Florida, its just where I want to be right now.[msncry].
Well, its happening, my biggest fears are coming true, school holidays = no routine = far too much food/not enough exercise = weight going the wrong way. I've have a really bad week[msnembarrased]. I've only been on the treadmill once since monday, and I've eaten crisps and far too much bread for my own good. Its amazing how the brain can turn from being absolutely focused (which I was) to oh well one won't hurt - and of course it doesn't stop at one does it ladies![msnwink]. I need to get back on track before I do any real damage. The problem is I feel really lazy when I'm not at work so I don't do the exercise and then cos I haven't exercised I'm not so careful about what I'm eating. And so the trend continues! And do you know whats more annoying - the fact that with all the stuff I've eaten that I shouldn't have, I haven't even had any chocolate to feel the calories were worth while.
So, I've come clean, had a bad week, now I must draw a line under it, move on and make sure this doesn't continue for the next 5 weeks otherwise I will have ruined all of my hard work of the last 5 months or so. Help meeeee!!!!!!!!!

Julie B, I don't know how old your children are, but how about meal planning for the week and trying to keep away from giving bread to anyone so that you do not have it in the house. You could make some of the meals that others have suggested on here instead. Frittatas, pasta quiche, SW scotch eggs, lots of fruit, sin free treats like Muller light yoghurts. Just a few ideas but could you have a BBQ with the children at lunch time so that bread does not tempt you.

Morning all .Have returned from my trip to Florida where I was very good -even if I say so myself.I jogged most mornings there and ate within my limits - opting for no dressings on salads and swopping chips for veggies and by-passing the desserts or sharing them with a very hungry 17yr old so I didn't get much of a look in.I made smoothies for breakfast and drank loads of water so I do feel the same as before I went if not a bit slimmer.
I have a friend who is thinking of joining a SW class so if she does I will go with her to get the full benefit of their wisdom.
Haven't really been posting much too many things to do over there -actaully went to the parks for the first time since 2004 and visited St. Augstine a really lovely place quite different from the park area-so will have to spend time catching up .

Welcome back Janny, could you have as it going to be rather quiet for the next week with Alison, Mizzy and Julie away. We will have to do lots of chatting so they have plenty to read when they get back.
-
Yes, welcome back Janny and a very well done for being so good whilst away. You've been alot better than I would have been!! I just cant resist all those lovely desserts whilst in Florida.[}:)][}:)]
Sally.....Hope you're having a lovely day today:D[msncool][msncool]
Julie B...Dont despair[grouphug] I keep having my moments as well but at least you know where you are going wrong! It is so easy to go off track in the school holidays....I know too well myself. Its so much easier to eat the same as the children and not bother with yourself. As yu say, draw a line underneath it all and move onto next week as a new week[msnwink]
Jill, Nice idea for the BBQ[msncool]
Julie...Have a great shopping day:D:D
Off to make some lunch for my gang now!!....tomatoe pasta bake:D

I feel as though I haven't thought about eating at all this week. Everyone has gone on holiday and had losses which I haven't even replied to, so to all those going away I hope you have a wonderful time. To those who have lost [clap][clap][clap]well done.
I was at my friends Mum's funeral yesterday and although it was a very sad day it was also quite nice to meet up with people I hadn't seen since school days (20 years).....hope that doesn't sound too awful[msneek] Anyway I met a girl I hadn't seen since school and she was a grandmother[:O] at 37. I couldn't believe someone as "young" as me was a NAN.
I am out at a wedding tonight so I'm not making any promises about not drinking, I am the only driver amongst my friends so I have been a bit of a chauffeur this week so hopefully I will be able to get sozzled tonight......vodka red bull here I come.......
