I have already started with my eating habits. I am eating lots of fresh veg I do not eat chips, potatoes, cakes, biscuits, my downfall is ice-cream though. I just can't start any exercise until my back(chest) stops hurting when i breathe.
I am going to stand on th scales on Monday morning and have a starting point weight I still don't know how much I weigh,, approx 10½ stone. would like to be 9 stone, or just be able to fit in my shorts from two years ago. I have also been told that my family planning jab I have is prone for women to put on weight, so a fight is on the way.
I know exercise is my biggest downfall. At one time about 4 years ago I used to go to the gym four times a week. and really enjoyed it and felt great physically. Then my studies were getting harder to keep up with and something had to go. I wanted my accountancy exams more. I now find it hard to return as my best buddy for gym has moved further away it is more diffcult for us to get together.
When my chest eases a bit I going to make the efor to go on the treadmill I normally do a brisk walk on the highest incline for about 40 mins and then do a couple of free weights for my upperbody. I am not going to start until I can breathe a bit more as I had pnemonia!! Spelling a couple of years ago, and find it hard to breathe is cold weather just in case this is a chest infection. It is not so bad as the moment, so might be getter better, hopefully it is just a strain.
Will keep you updated and to my start weight and diary.

Michele I battled thru the weather to go to the gym too last night.
Only did 20 minutes on the cross walker, as my sciatica is still giving me grief from my slip the other night.
Went on all the machines, and did extras on the ab machine and the "bum" one. Didn't do any free weights as it was starting to snow and I wanted to get home! Will do some of them at home tonight.
Supposed to be weigh in day tommorrow for me but I am wondering about only getting weighed once a fortnight now. Luckily for me I am now down to the last 5, 6 or 7 lbs and I know that I will find it difficult to lose if indeed I can lose it at all, I may now be at the weight I'm meant to be. But if I wait 2 weeks between weigh in's I might see more of a loss and be more encouraged - thats the theory anyway [msnwink] [msnwink]

Julie-I'm down to my last few pounds and despite working really hard, I'd lost just over 1lb in 2 wks. I haven't been weighed for a week now and know that I'll be disheartened if I haven't shifted any more.BUT the good thing is that I haven't "cheated". So, like someone in a previous post said-at least we're not putting on weight!!
Everybody seems to be trying so hard-well done all, keep it up.(Just imagine those hot, sunny Florida days and feeling good in your shorts)[msnwink][msnwink]
hi everyone is doing so well. its not just the weight loss`s it the getting fit eveyones fitness is improving so much even its a little bit at a time it helps. i have not lost again this week [msnsad] but i know that my fitness is so much better i can feel i have a little more energy . saying that i think the gym instuctor is trying to see me off he has increased all my exersisces this am i managed them but was absolutely knackered [msnmad] i was this colour when done !
i manged 24 on bike ,20 on treadmill and 9 on cross trainer but subsequently only managed 10 lenghts of the pool .

Had a mad day yesterday but hardly ate so hopefully I will see some loss on Monday[msnscared]
Been a good girl today not had any goodies except 2 Thorntons chocs, I have said I don't want to go out for a meal because I don't feel the need and it would spoil it so just going to have a glass of Champers tonight and maybe go out on Sat early with the children.
Im going to go on the treadmill later for 60 mins run and we are having chicken stir fry tonight - bet Ive got a cake too[msnscared]
Woke up to snow here and its freezing today, but got lots of nice pressies[msnsmile2]
