Although I prefer to sleep in the pitch dark, can't stand even a glimmer of light, my children have always liked a night light, so we, too, provide novelty Disney nightlights for our younger guests.
Funnily enough our middle daugher - 21 - always goes and gets one for her room when we stay in our villa - so it seems you are never too old for a nightlight!:)
my grandson (20 months) broke the one in "his" bedroom, so we had to replace it luckily it was one i think from walmart, so i brought a pack of 4 and put in a drawer, lucky it couldve been one that was dearer![msneek] the villa had plastic coasters , he (Bradley) found them and dropped one it snapped in half, had to replace that, glad it wasnt to expensive, kids![msneek][msneek][msneek]
A couple of years ago one of my sons put his hand through the lanai mesh, we phoned the owners straight away and offered to get it repaired and of course pay for damage, the MC came and fixed the damage but the owners wouldn't except a penny, we had been to their villa 5 times and they said we had been great guests and this was an accident[msnsmile2]
We sent them a pressie to thank them[msnwink]

The perfect guest, LiesaAnna. You obviously treated this home as if it were your own. [clap]
Another thing that's often missing from photos and slideshows but often features on the virtual tours is the view of the road the villa is on, like the view from the front door and up and down the road.
I like to see these views[msnwink]
The villa we stayed in before we had our own had broken runners where the wardrobe doors were supposed to slot into. We fixed those ourselves. We also have night lights, I put them in the bathrooms also, so if guests, need the loo in the night they can make their way quite easily, without having to be dazzled by bright lights. Chloe
