Thanks Fiona and Mizzy..........I love the idea of making my own scotch eggs. Can you buy the scan bran from most supermarkets ?? (sorry, I've never used it before!)[msnembarrased]
Enjoy your picnics Sharon and Sally [msnwink] hope the sun keeps shining
Have a great weekend everyone, I am going to try and get my home pc up and running again this weekend so may be able to check in before Monday if I'm successful [msneek]
You can use the M&S low fat sausages and just take the sausagemeat out. One of the ladies who cooks for our demos each month makes them regularly and she doesn't bother using scanbran, just the sausagemeat wrapped round a hardboiled egg. I am going to have a try as I LOVE scotch eggs!!
Regarding the chicken, I am not keen on bacon as I find it too salty (but love a bacon in toast with sliced tomato, no butter - so go figure!) parma ham is nice - with all the fat cut off - ½ syn for 28gram on original or 3 on a green.
Karen haven't had any joy with a kitten yet, still waiting for the CLAWS lady to phone me back, might give up and phone the person who is advertising in the local paper - although Jill will be back on Sunday, so might hang on.
We are off to Bournemouth to see MIL next Sunday and I am not sure it is fair to take 2 kittens home when we will be out all day within a week of them arriving - even if I do get my neighbour to pop in and feed them. So might have to plan for collecting them after that, we shall see.
thanks for the encouragement everyone.
Had a good day today so far.
Had chicken for lunch
fruit for brekkie
and a big chicken salad for early tea.
Half a muffin and some apple juice will no doubt be over my syns.
But have been pretty good
Alison
Another good day today, if I don't lose this week then something is very wrong.......

skinny latte x 2 = 2 x HC a's
mushroom rice = 2 syns
HiFi bar HC b
