It really annoys me that they charge extra for the exit seats these days. We always used to get to the airport early to get one but I refuse to pay extra for an ordinary seat !

don't mind at all Liesa it's good to get it off your chest. had a fantastic time Rose, it was just the last 20 mins i got wound up for.
Here's a spanner in the works, flew back with Aer Lingus last Weds, the lady in front turned around to me and asked if i minded if she reclined her seat, lost for words i said no she then reclined it all of 2 inches :D
she's not playing the game Tony, deosn't she know you're not supposed to ask and it's all the way back or nothing[msnsmile2]
very funny!! do you think she reads this forum????[msnwink]
The big question is - why is it always the person in front of me who chooses to recline their seat???:(
I can sympathise with most people on this one, but on my last flight to MCO from Gatwick my chair would semi-recline after a few minutes use. After being deliberately kicked by the moron behind me as he made his way to the toilet, I was livid. My wife intercepted the said person on his return and explained to all around,in her teachers voice, that the seat was faulty and could he keeps his knees and feet to himself. Exit one red faced passenger and peace and quiet for the rest of the flight. Hopefully don't get the same seat this Sunday.
On one flight I was on the couple in front had the exit seats and the miserable s**ds still reclined their seats all the way home.
We also had to ask them at each meal time to put their seats back to the upright position.
I never ever recline my seat in consideration for the people behind me.
I think it would be better if all the seats were fixed upright then everybody is in the same boat (or do I mean aeroplane)!!!!!
That is what recline buttons are for on seats guys! Sorry to be a devils advocate.
I normally only do it when watching the film and bring it back up for dinner.
Must admit that if I keep the seat in the upright position I get a very bad back. I don't recline the seat much, just enough to be comfortable.
