Hello ladies
Not been around for the last few days and what a lot of posts – so much to catch up with
Big [grouphug] [grouphug] for all of you that have been or are still feeling under the weather and need them – hope you are all starting to feel better now
Frances & Pam, hope your other halves both have some good job news soon and hope you're ok after your bump Pam [grouphug]
Marie, what have you been doing to yourself Mrs? Sounds like a really nasty burn – hope it’s not too painful
Julie, take care on those stairs!!!
I didn’t get weighed Friday – but have a definite date with those scales for this Friday morning
I have been keeping my food diaries but won’t post days and days here – I am eating well but think I have already lost my way with the red & green days [msnembarrased]I’m finding it difficult to keep my carbs and protein separate I’m afraid
[msnoo] [msnembarrased]

Quick question for our resident experts! Can you tell me why on a red day you are allowed 227g potato if it's baked in skin but only 198g if new potatos in skin?
-
I'm not sure if I am totally right but it could be there is more fibre in a jacket potato. Someone is sure to know later.

Julieanne you don't have to keep your protein and carbs separate, here is a quick way to decide whether to go red or green..........
if you want unlimited meat fish or poultry but not so many potatoes, beans or pasta go red and just weigh out your carbs as Healthy Extras B's.............
on a red day you could then go on and snack on any of the protein as long as they are listed as free
if you would prefer to have unlimited pasta, pots or beans etc then go green and just weigh out your meat, fish or poultry and count them as Healthy Extra B's..........
on a green day you could then go on and snack on as much pasta, beans or potatoes etc as long as they are listed as 'free'
just remember to weigh and measure your HE's both B's and A's[msnwink]
P.S HEA's = milk and cheese HEB's in addition to the above also = cereals, bread, dried fruits etc
Pam I am 99% certain Frances is right but I can't get to my SW Bible at the moment but will double check it tomorrow for you[msnwink]
Good day for me so far green day..........
banana and actimel 1.5
starbucks tall skinny lattes HEA's
frittata
muller light
rice and bean salad with peppers and mushrooms and chicken HEB
extra small home made latte and teas 6 syns
cadbury creme egg mini x1 = 2.5 syns
lots of water[angel]
2 ryvita museli crunch for supper later HEB
Hope everyone is feeling a bit better tonight?
I have been for my post op appointment and found out the true long term damage I have done to my knee[msnsad][msnsad][msnsad] but have been advised to get a decent exercise bike as that will really help my recovery - good job it's my birthday next week as I can guess what I will be getting now[sporty]

[/quote]Still under the weather Julie, the plan will have 100% from me as soon as I'm able to eat normal again. I had a little bit of soup yesterday and managed a Jacket Potato today, I really couldn't have managed anything else.
Does anyone watch supersize v superskinny. I find this programme amazing.
