Julie you look amazing, but you are an example to us all because you (and you too Mizzy) seem to keep so much on the straignt and narrow more than the rest of us do!
Home from work absolutely starving so finished off the rest of salad I had for lunch, and 2 ryvitas with cottage cheese and 4 baby toms. Tomato pasta for supper and no booze as am saving myself for anniversary supper at Italian restaurant tomorrow night (28th not 29th - can't even remember how long I have been married, honestly!!)
Jill - you are near Hayling Island aren't you? Am quite happy to travel, but do they need to check out our home first? In which case we are too far. Battersea have loads in London, but we all have to go up, DH works 6 days a week and plays golf on the 7th, so that's a no-go. Am phoning round yet more charities - in fact, give my brain a reality check, will pop in to the vets and ask them if they know any, dogs need their vaccinations anyway.
Am trying to summon the strength to take the hounds to the woods again.
Alison - you need to allow for the dried fruit and nuts in the muesli - or you can check on the SW site for it's values. If you put the manufacturer on I will check for you if you like. It can be the little things like that that completely snooker the diet. There is no reason why you should not have potatoes / rice / pasta with your main meal - just decide whether you are on a red or green day as this gives you the quantity. You can eat plenty more fruit if you want to.

Fiona-after much deliberating,we let our daughters choose 2 kittens on Monday! We had our old rescue cat put to sleep in April-she was around 17.
Our new kittens are only a month or so old so we shall be collecting them from the Cat's Protection League at the end of August when we return from our hols. The girls have named them Roxy and Maxy! I'll try to post a picture later (but one of them is a bit blurred[msnembarrased])

Fiona i'm not that good[msneek] but i'm determined to slim down, i've spent a decade being unhappy with my size and even if it takes me two years to reach target with many bumps along the way i'll get there eventually
Sally you big softie you[grouphug][grouphug][grouphug]
i blubed loads when my daughter left her special school, she'd been with the same teachers and 8 other children for 6 years and i was so scared for the future, the nice thing was 6 of them moved into the new school together so they had familiar faces in their new scary enviroment, 2 years down the line and she's doing great[clap][clap][clap]
it's my little chaps turn next year, cue loads of fights and me threating legal action to the education authority, we've just had an up to date ed psyc report which is as contradictory as h*ll[msnmad]
Carole would love to see the pics of the kittens, i'd love a cat but with the children i'd feel sorry for the poor thing having to live in our madhouse[msnscared]
am off now to sort out tea thinking of pasta but will check out fridge first

Julie you look fabulous, well done[clap][clap]
Fiona I am really impressed how quickly you are back to the healthy eating. Although from your reports while away you seemed to be doing very well while you were on hols too! I hope you find a kitten soon, I know how you frustrated you must feel, as although its not been long since we lost our beloved dog Daisy, I have decided that I now cannot wait until next year, as originally planned, to get a new dog. The house is so empty without her and I cannot bare it for much longer. We are going to travel 109 miles on Sunday to look at some puppies. They are ready to collect just as we are going to the villa on 3rd August and the lady has agreed to hold our puppy for us so we can collect her when we return.
Carole, the kittens look so cute, I bet you cant wait to bring them home.
I know I have left people out but it is really difficult to keep on top of things lately.
Have a nice weekend one and all.

Julie you are looking great, well done.
It's taken me an age to catch up on this thread, well done everyone who lost.
Mizzy sorry to hear about your results.
I will let you all know what I've been eating when I get home and do a trip report. I've just dropped my folks off at the airport and we have another 7 nights here in hot and sunny Florida, although I believe you are having fantastic weather back home.
Catch up soon[grouphug]
