today i wore a denim skirt that was a tiny bit tight on my thighs, it looks ok but it was a little bit uncomfortable!! today i have had it on all day and feel good in it!!the waist is a bit big (i am an odd ball shape!!) but not for much longer!!!
i am feeling it now!! and am very pleased with myself!!!
i decided to write this bit of useless info, as i am waiting for my jacket potatoes to cook!! have picked on 3 tiny clemantines!! they smell gorgeous!! i love them with natural cottage chees and freshly chopped chives!!!
dont wanna pick ........ am not gonna pick....[msnwink] i wont!!

Thank you all for your support .It has given me the kickstart I badly needed ,Ifeel if Ireturn to my wayward ways I shall be letting you all down ,well you understand what I mean. Chunkichik I understand what you mean about going to a different restrauant but believe this one is the best in Dublin and the owner is one of DH s best friends , but I drink buckets of water and nibble away instead of my usual form of eating everything in sight .To everyone in the slimming club good luck and may Lady Willpower smile on you all.

Liesa, you cant 'spot reduce' fat but you can tone those areas, one of the good exercises for your bum as you have knee probs is just to clench hold for as long as you can then release, do this as often as you can throughout the day. I will as the PT about the thighs for you when I see him tomorrow![msnwink]

What about doing some swimming?
-
been there and done that! then it starts the hip, which has been playing up for the last few weeks, but the water is so cold, i went twice a week for over a year combined with weigth watchers and only ever lost 1/2 stone, but the GP told me to stop swimming, but have found out recently that there is a place in Brighton where i can go to swim that is body temp, so may have to look into that, but its theraputic!

All you need is to raise the heart rate. what about sitting exercises using the upper body?
Those bottom clenching ones do work though, you could do the same with the thigh muscles too!!
