Sounds about right, you could have had salad if you wanted with the potato Julie, and of course you are drinking lots of water aren't you??
Muller light yogs (the fruit ones) have nominal syns and are good when you are desperate for something sweet, as is sugar free jelly. Be careful with fruit juice with fruit salad and tinned or cooked fruit changes the sugar value.

Fiona, thanks Yes it was small fresh fruit salad, drunk at least a litre of water so far too[msnwink]

Julie
your doing fantastic so far
yes you can have pasta and its a free food on a green so you can eat as much as you want
you could make a creamy sauce with very low fat fromage frais or natural yoghurt which are both free add some crushed/chopped garlic and a few chopped herbs either dried or fresh and away you go
i also like the very large conchiglie shells filled with a spag bol mixture made with quorn mince and pasata with added mushrooms, onion, herbs garlic etc and then topped with some reduced fat cheddar* or parmesan* which is a *healthy extra "a" choice*
green are my favourite days as the food is so filling
a nice suggestion for desert (if you have room) is a meringue nest 3 1/2 syns topped with any fresh fruit and a muller yoghurt with a sprinkle of crushed ginger nut on top for another 1 syn
total syns 4 1/2 or as fiona says the sugar free jellies are free on both plans

Thanks Mizzy, I shall try that desert tonight, children will enjoy that, they are having the pasta with me too[msnwink]

Well enjoyed my massage but feel abit tender now!![msnscared]
... I too have suffered with sciatica[msncry][msncry]...had the spinal epidurals and everything (God that hurts)!![msncry]
Swimming is good for bad back but not doing breast stroke!!
...unless you are prepared to put your head into the water with each stroke. If you keep your head above the water line to swim you'll actually aggrivate your existing back problem (told to me by my consultant)
Having a green day and enjoying it (I don't feel hungry at all)
Decided to vegetable goulash for dinner tonight[msnwink]
-
Sharon glad you enjoyed the massage[msnwink]
Well I have finished my green day, had the tomato pasta made with wholemeal pasta have yet to eat my strawberries on top of a meringue with yogurt on the top, must admit I am not hungry and I have eaten much more than normal[msnscared]
Sciatica been bad at times today[msnsad]
Have a good evening all[msnsmile]

I like this slimming world programme!!.......never felt hungry at all again today!...had the vegetable goulash and really yummy!
..may try a "red" day tomorrow.
Julie...hope your pain eases! ...I can definately relate to your pains!....have a syn (glass of wine!)[msnwink] and try sleeping with a shallow pillow between your knees, this helps me!

My Mum is really suffering with sciatica at present - she is finding it very difficult to even walk a few steps :(
They say swimming is one of the best exercises to do for back pain sufferers but I'm not a goood swimmer, I'm afraid of water [msnembarrased]

Hi Julie and Sharon
i've just logged on to see how your doing and you seem to be enjoying yourselves
it's great to feel full instead of starving when your trying to lose weight[msnsmile2]isn't it?
Julie i do hope you will give it the full week before getting weighed, my weight fluctuates throughout the week but as long as i follow the plan i nearly always lose[msnwink]
for a red day you could have a big brekkie with bacon, marks and spencers very low fat sausages are either syn free or 1/2 syn each ,mushrooms, tomatoes and fried eggs (using frylight)
then later if you up for a cooked dinner you could have unlimited meat, carrots, brocolli, swede, cauli, savoy cabbage and the yorkshire pud (about 3 syns and gravy about 1 1/2 syns)
i am sure the kids will not say no either[msntongue]
have another "good one" girls - your doing great
