Hello Girls
Theses posts are going too quick for me [msnsmile2]
Low calorie wine?????????? Not seen that before but could be a god send as I do like a tipple in the evening after I have loaded the kids into bed. Will have to have a look as I am off to the shops in a bit.
anyway - keep up the good work and thanks to Mizzy for keeping us all up to date with SW. must admit I do not go to the class now as I work when it is on so the OV club is helping loads.
Hi Ladies......Just catching up on the last few days!
Well the pound that came off last week i think has just gone back on after this weekend!![msncry][msncry]....been off to Spain for past 4 days so you can imagine why its gone back on!
Well decided I need to change tactics so I too have just downloaded the slimming world 7 day planner!...looks very interesting!
Just counting how many syns I can have[msnwink]
[clap] [clap]
More losers - well done all....
I've downloaded the SW 7 day trial too.
Mizzy, you seem to be our adopted SW consultant ;), so can I ask a question, if I pick a green day do I have to stick to what's listed for that particular day, say I'm doing Tuesday but don't want the broccoli & chilli penne can I have the spanish rice off Friday's menu????
I'm feeling better each day and even though I still have lots of catarrh (sp ?) my appetite is returning. Hope everyone else is feeling better soon too [grouphug] [grouphug]
Well all you SW converts I have just had the Tuna salad made with boiled eggs, french beans, rocket, lettuce, cucumber, toms, red onion and low fat dressing, didn't have the parmesan or the olives, but boy it was nice and I am very full!!!
Supposed to have fresh fruit for pud but I am leaving it till mid afternoon[msnwink]
Mizzy another qestion for you sorry!! Can I have skimmed milk as syns if so how much? Need to work out if I can still have my skinny latte??
Sharon never mind you will soon get that off[msnwink]
Liesa so sorry you also put on a few pounds, join the club[grouphug] Fancy trying the SW with us??[msnwink]
no thanks Julie, dont do the slimming clubs, will just watch everything i eat and do a bit only a bit of exercise
Julie...thats sounds really nice what you've had!
I've just had the lunch box meal with the low fat cottage cheese, loads of sald leaves and beetroot (which I love)
Had a nectarine but had no kiwi fruit in the house so missed that out!
Lots of water!
How many syns are you allowed a day?
Ah just found it in the e-mail SW have just sent me!!
5 - 15 syns a day!! WOW think I will be doing more syning than less syning!
I just need to find out about syns regarding my skinny latte[msnwink]
Just having my pud, a huge Abate Fetel Pear - deliciously juicy and aromatic pears rich with the delicate flavour of honey and rose[msnwink]
Liesa you have to do whats right for you, I think I needed a change of structure and I really like the look of the SW meal planner, so going to give it a whirl[msnwink]
right here goes
yes you can swap one green tea for another green tea and likewise for the red plan as long as you stick to the same colour all day
you can have an entire week on red if thats what suits or if you love your potatoes and pasta you can have the entire week on green - really its your choice
Julie you need to be having ONE of the following every day and it is classed as an healthy extra "A" choice (the milk details that were sent in your first e.mail from SW)
350ml skimmed milk
250ml semi skimmed milk
175ml whole milk
200ml goats milk
250 calcium enriched soya or rice milk
OR
28g cheddar,edam,emmental,gouda,gruyere,parmesan,
42g mozzarella,reduced fat cheddar,reduced fat cheshire
85g primula light cheese spread
so you should be fine for you skinny latte without using the syns
also low fat muller light yoghurts are free on both days and fruit must be eaten whole and not blended because once you blend you lose the fibre
syns are for those little extras that we cant live without, wine, chocolate, crisps, biscuits, jam, gravy, ketchup,y orkshire pudding and the list goes on forever
for example - cant be bothered to cook or need a treat - chicken chow mein per average 350g portion from the chinese takeaway = 7syns , glass of low cal wine 2 1/2 syns and 2 finger kit kat 2 1/2 syns (total 12 syns)
you can save syns up to use later in the week like a friday night out with the girls or a special meal with darling husband
hope this helps Mizzy
