Welcome Gill.

Paula am so sorry didnt see your loss!! well done!!!!
Well done losers!
Julie-hope you're feeling better soon.
Still plodding on here.Keeping on track with food. Sticking to same regime of porridge for breakfast, salad/fruit -based lunch. Lean protein for tea, such as salmon or chicken with lots of veg and small portion of carbs, followed by yoghurt. Numerous pieces of fruit for snacks over the day.
It must be working as I have lost another 3lbs! That's 5lbs since Jan 1st, I'm really pleased. It's definitely made a difference as my clothes are much more comfortable round the waist, which is where I seem to put it on.
Have a good day all.
Carole
Well done Fiona.
Julie hope you're feeling better today I've got "that feeling" myself today.
Have a great day everyone.

this OV slimming thing is the best thing for me, because there is no pressure! i have been to many slimming clubs over the last 14 years or so, but have not got into where i am today!!!
lets keep at it everyone!!! let your bored fingers walk over the keyboard and chat to anyone in here or read others stories!!! keep busy!!
weigh in today with nurse,
Morning Girls,
just off to have my oats, starts the the day off right,t just want to share my
ideas on chocolate!!
If you've got melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly.
Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices & strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.
The problem: How to get 2 pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car. The solution is simple: Eat it in the parking lot.
Diet tip: Eat a chocolate bar before each meal. It'll take the edge off your appetite, and you'll eat less.
If calories are an issue, store your chocolate on top of the fridge. Calories are afraid of heights, and they will jump out of the chocolate to protect themselves.
If I eat equal amounts of dark chocolate and white chocolate, is that a balanced diet? Don't they actually counteract each other?
Money talks. Chocolate sings. Beautifully.
Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger.
Q. Why is there no such organization as Chocoholics Anonymous? A. Because no one wants to quit.
Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you'll get one thing done.
A nice box of chocolates can provide your total daily intake of calories in one place. Isn't that handy?
If you can't eat all your chocolate, it will keep in the freezer. But if you can't eat all your chocolate, what's wrong with you?
