Good to see some losses this week ladies – hope you are all coping with half term? It’s always nice & quiet for me at work during school hols.
I’ve not had chance to post food diaries each day but I have been keeping them so here they are – perhaps a little hiccup or two here?
Monday: oatso & ss milk, tuna salad, chicken & veggies, lots of fruit, activia yoghurt, water & green tea
Tuesday: oatso & ss milk, chicken salad, cajun chicken wrap & salad (pub meal), lots of fruit, activia yoghurt, water, green tea, lime & soda
Wednesday: oatso & ss milk, spicy Mexican rice, fish pie & veggies & lf toffee mousse, lots of fruit, activia yoghurt, water & green tea
Julie – I’m enjoying lots of blueberries at the moment too [msntongue] [msntongue]

Well done Paula [clap][clap][clap]
Not been in much today as we have all had to fly to Bahrain and back so we could get new visas as our residency process has not started yet. Eight hours later we are home and shattered but it had to be done.
I got on the scales this morning and they say that I am 3 lb lighter than last week - not sure how but I am not complaining. It has certainly given me the boost I need to go for it this week. I had not been on the SW site for months so I had to re-register and I had lost all the details of my 'journey' from last year [msncry][msncry]. Does anyone have the upcoming password for SW site?? Not like I am going to be able to get it all the way over here [msnsad]
The kids broke up here for half term today as it is Kuwait National & Liberation Days next week so lots of celebrations going on here and DH gets some well earned time off from work too [msnsmile2][msnsmile2]
Nearly midnight here so I shall say goodnight and check in tomorrow

Elaine this weeks password is jogging, and well done on your 3lbs that's a fab loss[clap][clap][clap]
Julieanne the blueberries are gorgeous at the moment[msntongue]
Well I am gutted, the surveyor has been to quote for my floor and its twice the price quoted in the shop and half of it needs 'screeding' so a quick cheapish facelift is turning into and long difficult expensive one [msncry] so looks like it will be on hold for a while (its a long story that I won't bore you all with[msnsad])
Good day again today but feel like I have not lost and ounce[msnsad]
banana and actimel
skinny latte x 2 HEA's
extra small homemade latte and milk for teas 6 syns
mexican bean and rice salad bowl with chicken HEB
was not that hungry at tea time so just a few homemade potato wedges
muller light
blueberries
lots of water[angel]
total syns 7.5
off to make a cup of tea - feel really fed up [msnsad] I think my lack of pmt ealier in the week has caught up with me now[msncry]

Well done Paula and Elaine[clap][clap][clap]
We've just got back from class and we are pleased[clap]. I lost 3lbs so that now totals 11.5lbs in 3 weeks and George lost another 6lbs!!!! making 14.5lbs in 3 weeks and of course he was slimmer of the week again (at least I don't have to buy fruit!). I am really pleased for him and don't feel envious at all because as long as he is sticking to it, the easier it is for me and I realise that men always lose more weight than we do. Unfair I know but ho hum that's life [msncry].
-
Well done Pamela and Elaine [clap][clap][clap] Congratulations to George too on a great weight loss and slimmer of the week [clap][clap][clap]
Julie sorry to hear the news on your new flooring wasn't what you expected [grouphug]

[msnsad] I am not a happy bunny as my friend had family problems and couldn't get away. Unfortunately, I just didn't have the courage to do it by myself the first time. If I had already been the once, I probably would have gone but just could not face it the first time.[msncry]
I am not waiting for next week so will will just have to keep my fingers crossed.
Oats so simple for brekkie
Skipped lunch as I thought it would be weigh-in
Evening meal - salad with small amount of goats cheese, followed by yogurt.
Have started drinking green tea with lemon and bought some green team with cranberries but not as nice as the lemon tea.
Just 2 black coffees and 1 capuccino.

Well done Brenda for starting the food plan on your own. I hope you manage to get to SW next week. If you are unsure of anything ask here and someone will help you out I'm sure!! I only do green days as I am a vegetarian, so I can't help with red days!! You will be surprised at how much you can eat and still lose weight! [msnwink]
-
Brenda well done but I hope you don't mind me saying but you are not eating enough, and enough of the right stuff, but also things like goats cheese is counted as 28g for a Healthy Extra A or 5 syns.
I honestly feel if you tried following a sw menu for a week it would really help, if you click on this link and then choose all green or red and green menu you get a sample weeks menu[msnsmile2] I would also get a copy of the latest mag too as it offers real inspiration and loads of good advice[msnsmile2]

Good Luck and I hope you can get to group next week[clap]
-
well done Elaine and Pamela [clap][clap][clap]
Brenda if you check on the sw website for classes near to you it will give a phone number for the consultant, perhaps a quick call wil make you feel less of a stranger when you walk through that door for the first time, it takes a LOT of courage to walk in the door to a new group but don't worry i am positive they will make you feel really welcome once you do[msnsmile]
i had a good day yesterday but i am struggling with tiredness and the half term, i love my chilren and having them about really i do but i'm shattered so have to say "roll on monday when it's back to school" [msnembarrased]

I am back in the UK and just spent quite a while catching up on the pages and pages of posts made whilst I have been away.
The good news is we had a fantastic time at the Rotary International Assembley meeting people from over 220 countries around the world. We spend 12 days in San Diego at Rotary's expense - all food included[msnembarrased]
We then travelled to our villa in Florida for a week where I hopped on my very precise scales. Bad new - I had gained 7 lbs. However, I decided it had to come off so spent a reasonable week and lost 2lbs.
On to our cruise which was the best cruise we have done - visiting Puerto Rico, St. Martenn and St. Thomas. We got invited to the Captains Table for the formal night which was a complete surprise and a night to remember. We then met a couple from the Captain's Table who were staying in the Royal Suite - there is only one on the ship! They invited us back for Champagne and nibbles. How the other half live.......
A week later on the scales - back to a total gain throughout pf 10lbs[msncry][msncry]
I absolutely deserve it, and I am not gutted as I knew exactly what I was doing. I now have the eronous task of losing it to get back to my target. I intend to go to class next Thursday and am following the SW plan at the moment. I have to do it, as the upcoming weeks bring umpteen President's Nights, Conferences etc. where there is all the food ready and waiting!!! I have made a start and for next weekend, I have pre ordered and hopefully will not be tempted by the extras!![msneek]
Well done to all of you who seem very very positive, especially Pamela and George. Wow!! We are over from 25th May until 12th June when we are off to Las Angeles for a Convention so we may have to have a SW get together.
Will be tuning in regularly now for a bit as I need to keep focused and this thread is a superb way of knowing that one is not alone with their weight issues. Thank you everyone[clap][clap]
