I had a good day again yesterday had porridge for breakfast..........skinny latte mid morn.........chicken pesto for lunch..........skinny latte mid afternoon..........hummous and celery and a super smoothie for tea as I was still full from lunch, plus 3.5 litres of water[clap][clap]
I am finding the more water I am drinking the more I want[msneek]
Trips to loo are decreasing[msnwink]
I have exercised every day this week too[sporty][sporty][sporty][sporty]
Weekends are often a danger zone so lets be careful[msnwink]

well..............i was a little naughty last night, but now the offending articles are in the dog so will be ok now i had a couple of bits of broken biscuits, we were given a lovely tin of handmade shortbread biscuits for christmas and didnt eat any as the whole tineful was "smashed to pieces" was gonna ask friends where they were bought from to we could take them back and exchange them but didnt like to ask our friends so 2 weeks later we succumbed, we nibbled on a few bits then put them in the dogs bowl as a mixer!!! i know it seems horrible to do that but the dog didnt mind!!! and now i have nothing in the house to pick on at all!!! nor does Steve i have apples for my picking he doesnt eat them!! hoping to have a really good day today!! infact i know i will!! will go do a bit more decorating later so will keep as busy as joints allow!!!

Have started well this am -porridge for breakfast 3.5 k on the treadmill less than yesterday but a faster pace -and have already got through 2 litres of lovely cold tap water. Have got low fat pork marinating for supper we are having sweet and sour with noodles .Problem is lunch and I have lots of cheese in the fridge -tempting .Will try to have yogurt and fruit .

Janny if you wanted to avoid hunger have some protien with lunch, chicken, tuna, egg for example, you will be less likely to pick in the afternoon[msnwink]

How are you finding having a treadmill at home? I have had mine for 3 years now and love it, got 2 sets of free weights too 6 and 7kg and a core ball[msnwink]

I am trying to get round to bin the cheese but its brie...and stilton...and camenbert... gosh it has to go be back in a minute !!
So far the treadmill is ok I used to do a lot of running and did several 10ks and could do them in under the hour but things in life took over and I had to stop- so am trying to get back anywhere near where I was .
It is hard for me as I have always been active and used to teach PE and aerobics back in the 80's and 90's and I really don't like the shape I am in now .I have the ball bit not the weights am looking around at them meanwhile the tins of beans come out of the cupboard.
But I keep telling myself

Off Food Shopping in a moment i am going to try and be good ,get all fruits,salad and veggies i MUST go past the crisps ,biscuits and cheese,Allan is going with me so even though i have good intentions i just know we will come back with some things that are not good[msnsad][msnsad].

Janny, you didnt have to bin the cheese, just limit the naughty things to tiny pieces, no rules saying you have to eat a mass of it!! we have said on here that sometimes its not the quantity but the quality!next time have it, just now and again and in moderation!!!

Well now on Day 5 and so far so good. Have managed pretty much to tick to healthy eating and snacking on fruit whenever I get hungry. I'm also trying to drink more water and cut down on the coffee during the day. I never drink coffee at home but seem to be unable to resist it at work - I think I need the caffiene fix to get me through the day!
Been and purchased a step counter today so I'm going to try and do 10,000 steps a day in an effort to get some exercise as well.
Only 1 week to go to first weigh in so need to stick to it.

Ah therein lies the rub Leisa-limit- when it comes to cheese is not a word I know my will power is not good on such matters so it had to go as John decided he wouldn't eat it for me .
