was it gorgeous Sharon
i've got 3 different types of mince pies in my fridge ready for christmas eve and i know if i opened one box then they would all be gone by then[msnembarrased]
the daily mail printed a list of nibbles to avoid at christmas parties and one mince pie = a mars bar[msneek]
but i agree with you Sharon it would have been so unlady like to spit ones pie out
one has to show some decorum now doesn't one

Hiya peeps and greetings from sunny Florida! Tore round like a blue-***** fly for the 2 days before we left, and you will NEVER believe what I have managed to do. Only left my medication at home on the kitchen table - took them and put them down to put in my handbag. Just trying to work out whether to phone insurance company and see if they will cover it, and will need email from my own doc etc. Have got my elder daughter to send them, but will take 5/7 days at this time of the year.
Anyway, apart from that had usual journey - accident on the M4 closed 2 lanes so took us over and hour instead of 20/25 mins; got very upset saying goodye to ED and it will not be the same having Christmas without her; BA catering not up to it's usual standards & safe to say was not a good slimming day, but at least we were on time (well done to the Captain who made up for a delay of 1 hr in departing) and through Immigration in record time, and charming Immigration Officer, shame it took as long to get a car that had been pre-booked and paid for from Dollar!! Stopped off at Macaroni's at the Loop just off the Osceola Parkway for supper, and we shared calamari and brushetta, of course we ate the bread and oil, but I did manage to be good for my mains and have "skinny chicken" - grilled chicken on bed of steamed spinach - along with a couple of glasses of red wine!!
Back on course today and just about to cook porridge which I bought in Publix last night, no goodies in the house, so cannot be naughty.
Well done to all of you who have lost weight, what a hard time of year to achieve this, chin up Mizzy, it will come. All this talk of food is making me starving! Ideas for nibbles - chicken bites with baby toms & basil on stick, carrrot, celery, slices of peppers with a dip made from quark and soupcon of blue cheese dressing mixed, v low-fat mayo with garlic or lemon, parsnip crisps - wafer thin baked in the oven. We are having an OV owners meet-up next week and we all have to take some food, so I think I have some inspiration!
I am off to make my porridge and eat it on the deck![msnwink][xmas1]

Well I am fed up, 3rd week running and have put 1lb on[msncry]. The only naughty things I have had is one chocolate chip shortbread and a few peanuts:(. Feel like having a pig out, if I'm going to put weight on I might as well enjoy it.

[grouphug][grouphug][grouphug]one each for Paula Leisa and Sally
Fiona have a great time and i hope you get your medication sorted out
Tracey a glass or two of wine is ok they count as 6syns for a standard glass and with SW you are allowed 10-15syns per day so i wouldnt worry about having just two glasses
its when you have 2 glasses 5 times a day you need to worry[msnwink]
everybody seems so down at the moment perhaps we should hassle Macka to post that much promised picture of his 6 pack[msnoo][msnwink]
