I wouldn't agree that it's a pain , as we make a day out of it. Start at Michaels up that way, round the corner to Ross dress for less + Bed bath & beyond. Do the designer shops, then belz, and as you exit Belz 1 + 2, turn left over the big flyover and take the (i think) first left. This is the back way to the Millenia Mall - cheescake factory here we come [:P][:P]

My estimations of Belz have also gone downhill over the past few years. Loads of stores pulling out and empty shops especially in Mall 2.
The last two times I've been over there and walking between malls 1 and 2 I've been stopped by suspicious characters and asked to their car to buy watches perfume and other stuff. Saying no didn't always work and they carried on pestering. Very un-nerving.
Premium Outlets and Fla Mall for me everytime. I would only go down to Belz now if I found something at premium but not in the size I wanted (IE Timberland, Tommy or RL).
Must try that Lake Buena Vista outlet on my next visit though (4wks today and counting:D)

As with other outlet stores, these do not suit everyone!
It does have some great shops and some grim ones too and some are not at all cheap.
You will soon discover the best way to go is to check out the other outlets and malls before you buy anything that as a big price tag!!
I still like this shopping mall but as others have said, some shops have closed and this is not good for tourists when shops you expect to find have gone!!

Wilfy,
The reason I say it's a pain is everytime I have been up Idrive in the past couple of years it has been HELL[}:)] It has taken more time getting there and back than spent shopping. They really do need to sort out the traffic around that area.

We still have Belz on our 'must do' list every time we go to Orlando. I think we went there twice during our trip last month...:)

Just back from Orlando and did not give Belz a second look!

I am not really a shopper, but I think Belz looks to be the poorer cousin. Having said that, friends of mine have just bought Tuscany Gourmet Pizza, which is next to the Nike store. They are in the process of smartening it up a lot as, like the rest of Belz, it's looking a bit shabby. Don't let that put you off though because the food is excellent. Good luck to my friends too, they just got their Visas' issued.[msnsmile2]

Belz on its own may not be upto the standards of some of the other malls these days, but if one makes a day out of both Belzes, Festival Bay and the surrounding shops including the excellent Outdoor World, it would surely be worthwhile.
-
We don't bother with Belz now at all! I guess because we go fairly often, we don't want to spend hours roaming around the shops, we go straight to the ones we know, get our purchases and get back out in the sun[8D] parks or swimming[msnwink]
****Just to shock a few serious shoppers, I didn't buy anything, AT ALL!!! Last trip, April this year [msnscared]****

To be honest i found Belz and Festival Bay very poor indeed! Belz has seriously gone downhill and Festival Bay is Half Empty! The only good things at FB was Outdoor World and Bill Murrays Caddyshack Restaurant :D
