Julie, I am used to him being away, Peter is in the Navy and he only goes away for a couple of days at a time but it used to be 6, 7 or 8 month trips. When the girls were young it was very hard as I was completely on my own, no family near.
Still it was always like a second honeymoon when he returned. Strange that my 3 girls were all born 9 months after he came home from a long trip[msnwink]

No we've stumbled onto Up close & Personal[msnwink]!!
Have been to the gym and for a swim[angel], was firm and did NOT have cappachino, but had herbal tea[angel][angel]. And despite having a sugar craving I am NOT eating the chocolate mini muffins, will head for the tangerines instead!
Just out in the semi-dark to give the hounds a quick walk - am still hot from gym so risking going out in my skirt & wellies rather than change. Dogs have fur coat and don't care!

oi Mrs put a jacket on!!! you know you should take care!!!

Me too, it used to be me going away all the time, but in the last 10 years Chris works all over the world and can be away from 2-21 days, just love that honeymoon when he returns[msnwink][msnwink][msnwink] Sorry Liesa but I am still in love[clap][clap]

Don't worry Liesa it was so blooming cold I had to put my furry hat on, and hiked round in my suede boots having forgotten to put socks on after the gym. Wellies in the car - temperature outside is 3 degrees, bare feet in ... I DON'T think so!
Tangerines were finished, but (and I trust you are all impressed with this), on way back from walking the hounds and collecting YD from station quick nip to Waitrose and bought some.
Mizzy have you tried those roasted chick peas that are in the Christmas edition of SW? They had them at our club last week - to die for, now if I can just remember where I might have put the mag I could make them.
Sally, Caitlin & Julie you must forgive us old bores, 31 years living with the same guy, (I was a child bride you know[:P]), OMG it's longer than a life sentence, and I am thrilled if he goes away on a business trip[msnwink].

I've had another good day, all I can say is Thank Goodness for Special K Chocolate Chip Bars, they are only 1 1/2 points and keeping my choccy craving at bay.
Good Luck to everyone who has a weigh in tomorrow.
