Kaz, I don't mean to be harsh but you are not doing it corectly so you won't lose weight[msnsad] wheres the fruit?? This is a red day but where are your HC a's?? Are the coffees black?? Does not look to me like you are eating anywhere near enough[msnsmile] Your breakfast and lunch is very sparse[msneek]
Have a look back at some of our food diaries and you will see we eat a lot more than you and if thats a normal day where's your variety? Green days are great for eating loads and still losing weight, unlimited pots, couc cous, pasta, you could even have something like a pack of Uncle Bens Express rice (check the syns values for each flavour) 2 syns and quorn sausages, or a massive veg omelette on green days and meat or fish omelette on red days[msnwink]
I honestly don't believe if you do the plan to the letter and eat ALL you are supposed to eat that you won't lose weight, why not read all the books again and give it another go[msnwink]
If anyone is proof that it works its me, I have struggled to lose my post baby weight for ten years, I have tried everything, but SW is working and I eat more than I ever have in my adult life[clap] Its all about eating enough of the right stuff and keeping going even if you put on or stay the same for a couple of weeks. There are not shortcuts though[msnsmile]
You diary looks like a dieters diary who is in a rut (like I was)[msneek]
How much do you want to lose?

good news Julie.
I did measure myself Mizzy and was not a happy bunny.
I'm 2ins all round fatter than I would like -and even with all thos 2inches off everywhere I would still need to lose a few pounds.
Really feeling dispirited now-and that I haven't lost an ounce since I started.
[/quote]
Alison, so sorry I missed this post, please don't get dispirited, like I have said above to Kaz I think we all need to stick to the plan more srictly if things are not moving. Are you doing SW 100% or more your own thing? As I said above I need the plan to get results and whenever I put on or stay the same I re think and go back to the books and start again - maybe follow one of the 7 day plans to kick start things again (that's what I did a few weeks ago)[msnwink] I agree with Mizzy the support and knowledge you get from a class is first class[msnsmile]
Give it a go![grouphug]

i did try this one 2 years ago and couldnt make head nor tail of what they were on about! even the books.......... and i wasnt the only one, didnt last long there, am afraid this one was just the hardest i have ever tried!!
you just have to want to lose weight hard enough!!!

think im just after a quick fix! or was!!! i know more then anyone, it wont come off, "cheating" isnt on if you wanna succeed, and you have to want to do it bad enough, i do but because i have so much to lose i want results yesterday, not a lot of patience in me im afraid where dieting is concerned! but have reached the point of very unhappy with my weight now, so am going to try even harder! after all its only me suffering..........well and my family listening to me whinging!!

Karen, you MUST fgorgive yourself and accept that there are going to be weeks when you may have a small gain or stay the same, you are doing great and will continue to do so if you believe that you can do this[msnsmile]
Kaz in a nutshell your not eating enough and the fruit is an issue too, are you going to class? if so you need to do a food diary for your consultant and she will keep an eye out for you and help you with any little blips, SW offers a 4 week money back guarantee if you don't lose any weight in those first 4 weeks, look through your books to get ideas for meals and good luck for a successful week ahead
personally i don't think you have to be dedicated 100% every day or that you have to eat less you just have to have some control a lot of planning and really really want to lose the weight with your commitment and by putting in the work
i don't look at it as a diet as such, i look at it as a series of choices i KNOW which foods i SHOULD be eating and i KNOW which foodS that i need to EAT IN MODERATION and for me thats the key to losing the weight[clap]it really is common sense
no one can be perfect 100% and i'm not, but i am commited, i can see my target and i'm prepared to work at it and if i have days that aren't 100% , i forgive myself and move forward with a positive attitude
the proof that is works, as well as there being thousands of successful target members you can now get a refferal to SW fom your PCT, backed by health trusts all around the country, why? because it's a eating sensibly, don't deprive yourself or go hungry plan and it's easy and it works not as a quick fix but as a sensible eating approach for life
