Claire, Alamo now say if there is nothing of your type of vehicle there to take the next vehicle up :D

Thanks for that info - I will tell my friends who have booked with them for later in the year.

I am afraid I still won't use them though - their customer service on that day was appalling and I don't like dealing with companies like that.

There is a guy by the cars who will give you an upgrade...the car we hired was nowhere to be seen so he just sent us to the next 2 lanes to pick from there....

Exactly same thing happened to my with Hertz on more than one occasion, infact two journies in a row!
