What makes Florida special ?

Well said. I love hearing 'how y'all doing today' and 'have a great day'. When you add the magic of the theme parks and the satisfaction from wonderful bargains at the malls to all the above, why would you want to go elsewhere? I don't know if I'll ever be tired of going to Florida but for now my family and I are enjoying every second of it and wish we could go more often.

I have to agree with all the above reasons, food shopping etc
But the biggest reason Florida is special to me is the fact that i was so impressed i kept returning, 11 years now since my first visit, loving it so much gave me the courage to take a chance and actually buy a villa there, made me reach for the moon. To walk into our house for the first time after closing has to be one of the best moments of my life and the look on the family's faces when they visit and are totally blown away. That's why Florida is so special to me:D and i know Lynne feels exactly the same!

Love the weather, well not the hurricane "bit" love all the parks, food, shopping and also in general they have a high standard of cleanliness.

Where to begin....... beautiful weather, something for everyones taste, all ages, all requirements catered for, vast choice, from restaurants, shopping, activities, inland or coastal preferences, or just enjoying the best of both worlds whether it be the gorgeous beaches or more inland activities, world class golf courses, huge range of foods available in the restaurants of your choice, English speaking makes life easier, dealing with Americans who are so polite and courteous, beautiful privatley owned villas to stay in. You know, Florida just draws you back doesn't it. I have been away from the forum but once I start reading your postings I get that urge to go back again. Hopefully this year will be the one. Once you have visited it is really hard to find anything to compare. just love the freedom and everything is so EASY. Know what I mean :D[msnwink]
