I'm afraid I'm going to have to give the slimming club a miss for a bit.
I've given up smoking and I'm eating everything in sight. If it moves I eat it, and if it doesn't, I eat it anyway.[easter1]
I'm going to just eat for week or two until I've kicked the fags, then worry about any weight afterwards.[msnscared]

I think that's very sensible Mr Macka, giving up smoking is so important, I nearly lost my Mum 3 years ago, smoking caused her to have a massive heart attack, the only reason she survived was because she had the attack in A+E and they got the clot buster drug into her within minutes, all 4 veins/arteries in/out of the heart were clogged and the consultant said it was a direct result of her smoking.
She gave up overnight!!!
Even if you are eating for England do try to get out and exercise[sporty][sporty][sporty]

I have to tell you I'm so proud of myself, I'll tell you why. (If I hadn't have given up, I'd never have admitted to this).
I've never met anyone (ever) who was as heavy a smoker as me. Some may have smoked more, although I was on 40-50 a day, and probably 80 a day at the weekend if we went out or whatever. In work during a fag break, I could finish two fags before anyone finished one, that's how heavily I puffed on them. I'd have 10 fags before I left for work.
I'd have to go out during a movie at the cinema for a fag, or at the theatre, I was the original hopeless case believe me.
I've tried so many times to give up, literally hundreds of times, so many times that the last time I failed I swore I wouldn't ever try to give up again I was so sick of the failure. The longest I ever went was a matter of hours, I've never given up for more than 24 hours since I started smoking at 16.
I haven't a clue why I've done it now, I just know that I have, and that I'll never smoke again. Ain't life wierd? And you know what I'm looking forward to more than anything else?
A flight to Florida where I don't have to freak out because I can't have a ciggy. Bliss. Simply bliss.[^]
If anyone else wants to give up, talk to me, If I can do it, anyone can, and I just can't overstate that enough.

The flights will be so much nicer for you now - I don't know that for sure because I have never ever even tried a cig in my life, my mothers heavy smoking put me off good and proper, but I am sure life will be a whole lot better for you now!!!

Having a busy weekend. Getting ready for my hols[clap]
Porridge for breakfast, rushed at lunch time so had a packet of low fat crisps and a banana[msnscared]. Had a lovely omelette for dinner, it tasted all the better because Peter cooked it[clap][clap]
Peter is doing the Great South Run tomorrow, I will be there to cheer him on. There is about 15 of them from his work, HMS Collingwood.
Had a sneaky look on the scales this morning[msnwink]
I am going to find today tough.[msnsad]
I am going to my neices birthday party, she is 9, and I love kids party food.[msnsmile2]
I made and decorated her cake yesterday, the cake doesn't bother me, after making loads over the years I could go without, it's all the little bits.
