Question for Julie/Mizzy other SW Experts!
The plan Julie sent me for next week, includes lots of yummy breakfasts. However I prefer to mainly have the plain old porridge as its easier and quicker, especially in the week! Should it be a straight swap, or should I have some of the breakfast ingredients as a mid morning snack.
eg. Day 3.
B'fast: Quorn sausages, 2 slices bread, pear, apple.
Snack: Pineapple rings
Lunch: Chunky Pasta Salad, strawberrites, Nestle Yog
Snacks: Raspberries melon
Dinner Sweet & Sour chicken, Boiled Noodles,
Cherries, 1 Pot Hartleys Ready to Eat Jelly
Snacks 3 Jacobs Cream Crackers with 1 oz cheese
Now. If I have porridge instead of sausages and bread, can I have the pear and apple mid morning?
What about the sausages, could I have them too. Don't laugh, I am not sure when its planned out if you are meant to be eating this stuff at breakfast, and if not can elsewhere in the day?
Its so hard finding substitutes for stuff in Oz. We don't have any Quorn products, so I hope my substitutes are working!
Maybe its why I only lose 1lb instead of 2lbs each week!!
Well done Julie & theresa[clap][clap][clap][clap]
Food diary for today
fruit and yogurt
Salmon & beetroot again:)
Salmon fillet & new pots
water by the gallon:)

Congratulations Julie [clap][clap][clap][clap][clap] i knew you could do it and for you too Theresa , your a star [clap][clap][clap][clap][clap]
Fiona i'm really glad it went well for you at the hospital[msnsmile]
Theresa, if you want to swap for porridge then that would be ok and you can eat unlimited fruit on both plans so of course you can have the pear and apple mid morning, you can have as many as you want[msnsmile2] and you can swap any of the meals over in a planner like this to suit whatever time of day that you want to eat them, is that any help?
well today is a red day for me
so i've had my usual brekkie of toast and jam (which uses up my b's straight away)
for lunch i am having cold ham and boiled egg salad with a honey and mustard dressing which is 2syns, lemon cheesecake yoghurt, banana
and i'm having chicken breast with roasted vegetables (courgette, peppers, red onion, and cherry tomatoes) for tea
mini honeycomb bites at supper time 4 syns
total syns 8.5[angel]
Mizzy
Well...I am back, need to wade through this thread and see what has been happening, but at a glance it looks like there have been some good weight losses[clap][clap][clap]
I would like to say I have been an [angel] whilst I have been away, but I cannot lie[msnembarrased] I have eaten everything I wanted, but I have had very little alcohol which is one saving grace[msnwink]
On the plus side I have got straight back on the plan today and have bought the new copy of SW magazine[msnsmile2]
I will weigh on the surgery scales as usual on Thurs and judging from my own scales I am looking at a gain of about 4-5 lbs, if thats the case I won't be too downhearted as it is not unknown for me to gain a stone when I go away!!![msnoo]
It is just over 6 weeks to my nephews wedding and I haven't bought my outfit yet[msneek] I really want to go down a dress size and in most things I am between sizes at the moment so I need to get serious!!
Welcome back Liz, good to hear that you are straight back on the plan[clap], it will come off again.
Fiona, glad everything went well for you[msnsmile2]
Have just had a lovely pudding[msntongue], thought I would have a chnage from just yoghurt and fruit so I got some tall glasses and layered strawberries, strawberry muller lite and low fat ambrosia custard, made 4 so 4.5 sins each and it was lovely.
Well done Theresa[clap][clap][clap] I am glad Mizzy answered you query, shes better than me at this[msnwink][msnwink]
Welcome back Liz[clap][clap]Hope you had a wonderful time[clap][clap][clap]

Long time, no post!!!![msnembarrased][msnembarrased]
Not too bad a week-but it included son's 18th meal out and 2 weekend barbecues[msneek]
Got weighed this morning-no loss (but no gain either) but didn't really expect it. Good thing is that I didn't go over the top-normally if I go "off plan" I cheat big time, but I remained in control.
Hoping for a loss next week!
Well done all the losers.Mizzy- that's a great result, Julie-good to hear you're going in the right direction again!!!!
Carole
good to have you back Liz and hey if it's 4 or 5lb gain then thats great for a two week orlando hol[msnwink]
Carole it's really great to hear from you too, i cheat big time when i go off the rails too[msnembarrased]
Sally your dessert does sound yummy another trick is to crush in some mini meringues, asda do some that work out at 1 syn each[msntongue] i also use a meringue nest usually 4 syns and then top it with sliced banana, toffee muller light and sometimes a little crushed ginger nut (1 ginger nut = 3-4syns but you only need a tiny sprinkle so it'll easily do four servings at 1 syn per serving)
and for a choc topping add a low fat choc option drink (2syns) to some very low fat fromage frais and some artificial sweetener to taste and this is nice with orange segments on top of a meringue nest[msnsmile2]
Hi-fi bars are very nice Julie, i like the apricot and white choc ones and the mince pie ones are really really yummy[msntongue][msnsmile2]
Mizzy
