Crikey Mach - you are certainly keen [msnsmile2]
Did some power walking to and from school today and tomorrow I am off to the pool for some length swimming. Hope fully this will help burn some more of fat from my tummy :D

Jan its the only time I have time if you know what I mean, I have tried to fit it in later during the day but it just doesn't happen so my friend the PT suggested I get up an hour earlier than I used to and do it then so I do[msnsmile2] apparently its good for speeding up your met rate, mine is still slow though, I am struggling to loose last stone of baby flab but I just have to keep at it, I am a size 14 but there is a 12 in there and at 5' 7" its a good size for me, want to be there by Xmas so a pound a week would do[msnwink] My tummy is my worst bit too[msnwink]

Well done Jan on your weight loss thats a great result.
I've started going length swimming for the past 2 Wednesdays at our local health club.
It's certainly toned my body up and you can burn upto 10 calories per minute swimming!!
I mananged 60 lengths last week[msnsmile2][msnsmile2] count how many you do tommorow and we'll compare notes[msnwink][msnwink]

Well done Jan, off to a great start[clap]
Jill, yes it would be nice to meet up sometime, I have never met anyone from OV before.
Walked my little legs off today, walked the dog this morning as usual, then had to take the car to a garage as the wheel bearings had gone, walked back from there and also been out tonight with the dog as Peter is not here, he usually does it in the evening.
Not feeling very good about the weigh in tomorrow[msnscared]

Good luck for tommorow Sally. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you[msnwink][msnwink]

I seem to be taking 2 steps forward and 1 step back at the moment[msnsad]

Another successful day for me. Didn't eat anything fatty or sweet. I went to pick my children up from school today half an hour earlier than normal, I parked up the car and had a good half hour walk. I have to take the car to school as we live about 4 miles away, whilst I wouldn't mind the walk I think it's a bit unfair to expect the girls to walk home all the way home.
Rather than read through all the hundreds of pages what are your success stories on here.

Sharon - I usually try for 40 lengths in 30 minutes. Seems to be the limit as I get bored after that. Also the pool session does not last that long so have to cram in as many as I can in a short time!!
Sally - Good luck for tomorrow. Fingers crossed and all that :D

Sally, good luck with the weigh-in. the dog wonders what has happened as she has had three walks today. I feel exhausted but she does not. Badminton at 9 am tomorrow the coffe with the girls - must avoid those cream cakes

Well peeps another whole ½lb off, but better off than on!
I am trialing (with a couple of others) the mix2max where I can choose each meal to be green or red meals. Am going to be good and see if I can get to grips with it. Here's an example:
Breakfast (original)
28g Bitesize Shredded Wheat (yeuck so need to find replacement in oats, sounds like porridge again!!)- taken as healthy extra
grilled bacon, tomatoes & mushrooms + an egg fried in fry light
Lunch (green)
2 slices wholemeal toast (healthy extra) - don't eat wheat v often, so need to find alternative to thism maybe jacket pot - topped with baked beans, 28g grated cheddar cheese (healthy extra) and chopped herbs.
Supper (original)
Lots of roast lean pork with roasted onion, aubergine, tomatoes and courgette.
Snacks, fresh fruit, or any superfree snacks.
Looks good but no chance of a) cooking roast pork midweek when working and b) getting my lot to have roast pork without roasties and gravy, so I will have to be very saintly.
[angel] So will need to change this for midweek and have a roast at the weekend.
Will have to sit down tomorrow am and plan all this out, DH is going to be delighted if he is likely to be offered bacon and eggs for breakfast[msnsmile2][^] and am off to the gym after first walk of the day with the hounds. That's the plan anyway, so if I am on here mid-morning I haven't got as far as the gym!
