Due to slow speed, latest prediction is that the eye will not be over here until about this time tomorrow. Unless it speeds up. The waiting is agonising. Outer winds and rain already hitting the east coast thogh, gusts of 67 moh reported at Cape Canaveral. They are saying 1 to 1.5 ins of rain an hour and it will take a long time to cross. And theres me without any wellies.

Hey Julie,
My husband laughed at me when I got worried about us not having any wellies with us.
The only place on the 192 in this area (Marker 4-6)which has opened this morning is Ponderosa. It was packed but will close at 11-30am. Winn Dixie on Formosa Plaza Boulevard will close in half an hour (ie 12 noon). Nowhere has plans to open tomorrow but all say they 'hope' to open on Monday.
Seminole, are you over at Oak Island? The winds are beginning to reach verya slightly now.

Hi
We are at our villa on Eagle Pointe just off Poinciana. 5 mins ago had strong winds and driving rain, which has now stopped again. Moved all pool furniture and car into garage. We are due to leave on Monday pm. If any owners on Eagle Pointe or nearby communities would like us to check around the outside of their properties after 'Frances'please DM me with your address (please do this sooner rather than later in case of power failures). Good luck to everyone else out here.

Sherrif of Osceola county on TV, curfew will stay in place until the danger is past and that includes afterwards as there could be power lines down in the water. The early curfew is to stop looting but also because of the danger of tournados in the forward winds.
Err you werent supposed to be out this morning, Newhomebuyer or at least not in a car. I am presuming all the people in the Ponderosa walked there from nearby hotels?

Hi Julie,
As we understood from Wesh we were okay to be out for a short time after dawn until 11-30am. We are safely battoned down now and don't intend to be out again until we get the "all clear" Take care everyone. Will keep in touch when able to do so. As we understand it there is already some tornadic behaviour out there so don't know how long we will be able to stay on line.
