I have thought of a downside though - I have very skinny and small 10 year old twins , who were going to be on childrens Hopper tickets. I know you neeed photo ID for the annual passes -so do you think I could still get them childrens annual passes? they don't have their own passports
You do not need photo ID for the childrens annual passes...not that I am saying you should pretend they are under 10 and get them childrens passes [msnwink]
I note from the details quoted above that the passes are not valid for
" any park commencing operations after May 1, 1998."
Which one(s) are they?
Not sure - we've used them at all 4 parks at WDW with no problems at all [msnsmile]
You can buy a voucher for the annual pass and activate it when you first want to use it. I am guessing that this clause will prevent people from storing these vouchers in order to use them in the future.
They are good value if you want to concentrate on Disney. Don't forget there are 2 types the Premium AP and the regular AP
I suppose "any park commencing operations after May 1, 1998." clause is so any parks that open or Disney aquire don't have to be included in the ticket.
Currently all 4 parks opened prior to May 1998, with Animal Kingdom being the last in April 1998.

Don't you have to be a Florida Resident to get an annual Disney pass?
No - there is a normal Annual Pass too.
Any special discount if u own a villa and how much that would cost and how to apply.

We bought our annual passes for 2004/5 a couple of weeks ago.
Although they are available on the Disney site to buy we couldn't, and ended up having to ring Disney directly.
The voucher arrived within 7 days and all we now have to do is take it to a Disney ticket booth in Orlando and pick up the actual ticket.
We were able to buy the annual passes for Universal and Seaworld/Busch Gardens online and have the e-mail vouchers to take with us too.
Now we've got our passes sorted out, the 14 weeks on Friday until we're there seems a lot closer !!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
