The parks are fantastic and April is a good time to go because the lines are not as long as in the Summer ,but they can be quite exhausting and as Linda has said you need to plan some rest days .These days are not in the least boring because when you stay in a villa you have the pool to yourselves all day and you can have a barbeque poolside in the evening . Even the 10 year old will enjoy the rest days. We would sometimes have to drag our youngsters away from the pool to go shopping ,and very often they would prefer to eat in the villa in preference to going out for dinner .Have a great holiday.

Sounds fab Sharon - yes, don't forget to allow for some lazy days at your villa [party1]
.... ooh yes, and then there's the retail therapy of course, the shopping malls are great.
Hope you all have a fantastic time.

thanks everyone
its great now we got the flights , villa & car booked , we can now just work out what we want to do
its coming together
although , a few people are saying to get tickets when you are there [msnscared], as appose to buying them on the site or anywhere before you go
so thats thrown me a little
oh well not to worry
many thanks again ,we are really getting into the florida groove now[msnsmile2]

only a person who hasn't seen the ticket desk queues would suggest buying them over there
you will get a great price from martin at the ticket link above and you don't have to waste any precious holiday time in queues, believe me they are enough queues inside the park without having to wait outside
and it's great to get the cost of tickets out of the way in advance
-
Definately get your tickets before you go! The queues are very long and time consuming when you could walk straight in and get to the rides!!![msnsmile2]

Hi Sharon, it sounds as though you'll have a great time. Definitely order your tickets before you go. If you use the link above you can collect the tickets when you get there, or have them delivered to your villa for a small fee ($8?). You just phone when you want them and they are delivered within an hour.
I would also suggest a few hours at Celebration. The homes are amazing, there are some interesting shops and great places to eat, plus fabulous lakes to take a walk round. It's very relaxing there.
We also like Downtown Disney, Disney Boardwalk and Universal City Walk to stroll round in the evening. All very different but with a great atmosphere. Free parking and entry apart from City Walk where there is a parking fee unless you arrive after a certain time (7pm?) when it is free.
Have a great holiday and don't forget to tell us all about it when you get back :)

apparently , they are on about ticket booths by the roadside where you get tickets (they are EVERYWHERE apparently)[msnscared] and
not actually going to the park and getting a ticket , although i know that you can do that
the site is deff the best option i can see , but still deciding how many days here , there and everywhere[msnsmile2]

thank goodness i found the site , [bowwave] i an not in the least scared to ask the silliest of question,as i know the advice is just the best

Hi Sharon a friend of mine said the ticket booths at side of road are time share, you hav to sit thru couple hrs presentation then get basic tickets [msnscared] not worth it [msnsad] Go back to basics start with how many dys you there and plan the days out including days out incl travel time, basic necessary shopping, fun shopping, rest times etc, you'll be amazed if you're honest how soon you run out of days if you be realistic [msnwink] but you'll still hav fun if you go prepared to make the most of it [8D] Just realise you will neva see half there is to see an relax an go with it [msnsmile2]
-
Beware of the ticket booths by the side of the road - some will most likely want you to attend a 2 hour presentation for a time share [msnscared]
-
Do not use the booths, they will be selling second hand tickets or timeshare tickets. Each single day will cost you atleast half a day touriing timeshares. The second hand tickets will not work as fingerprinting is used to enter the parks.
We have the largest range of discounted tickets available here www.park-tickets.com
