Please don't even think about the Cambridge diet its one of the most unhealthy ways to a weight loss[msnscared] you will lose water and put it all back on as soon as you go back to eating real foods[msnmad]
Alison you know how to do this but like you say its the doing it, why not download the 7 day menu plan from the SW web site, one of my members lost 6 pounds this week by sticking to plan and its easy to do whilst in a villa in Florida[msnsmile] and yes you are going to have to give up on the cakes for few weeks if you really want this to happen but as you know on SW you can have a little of what you fancy by using your syns[msnwink]
Lots of water and fresh fruit salads and fill up with 'free' foods[msnsmile2]

Excellent advice from Julie. SW is the best programme I have been on and I have yo yo dieted all my life. It really isn't that hard and you can eat everything by utilising your syns.
Have a great holiday and just be aware of your food intake.

I have been on every diet going in the past 20 years including the Cambridge Diet [sick]. Not only is it disgusting but you gain the weight so quickly when you go back to eating real food. SW is the best 'diet' I have been on so much choice and you never need to be hungry. Good luck I think if you really stuck to plan you could lose half a stone in 3 weeks because most people have a very good loss in the first week [msnwink]

I was picking 7lbs as an achievable goal-realistically a stone and a half would be better.
So no cambridge diet then-just when I had convinced myself it would be a good idea.
Do we need a password from the sw website?
Thanks for all the help-I had a strawberry flan cake today and 2 yogurts, 2 pots of apple.
1 glass of apple juice, chicken salad and a cheese and ham croissant at croissant moon.
Think i need to do better!

Alison there are no short cuts otherwise we would all be a size 10[msnwink], it takes effort and long term commitment but if you make it a 'lifestyle' you will achieve long term success[clap]

I have a grapefruit and egg diet sheet which has been made up by the medical profession and claims you can lose up to a stone in a week. There are 3 day ones as well. However, you must return to a normal healthy diet afterwards. I think it is just a kickstart to get people going. But if you don't like eggs, then no use.

I ended up in hospital many years ago after doing this - ITS NOT HEALTHY!!!!! ITS MADNESS!!!!
I don't mean to be harsh but its impossible to lose 1 stone of fat in a week you will lose lean muscle mass which is very bad and loads of water.
There is only one way to lose weight permenantly and that is to eat properly long term 'DIETS DON'T WORK" LONG TERM HEALTHY EATING DOES[msnwink][msnsmile2]

I tried that egg diet and fell over crossing the street. [msnscared] What about the cabbage soup diet? Done this too. its fast and you dont feel too hot. Wouldn't it be great if it was easy to lose the weight[msnsmile2] and hard to put it on.[msnmad]

well did a bit better today.
fruit and yogurt for breakfast.
salad for lunch with almost no dressing on it.
Salad for tea with a small portion of lasagne and a few fries.
2 quality street afterwards and loads of water and pushing myself around universal studio in 90 degree heat.
Lot better day today:D
What to wear though is going to be so difficult.
Did fancy a sleeveless top[:P] Not a good idea!
I can see me having to either have a go at making a skirt myself or maybe going to someone else to do it for me.
Getting a longer length off the peg is so difficult. My daughter won't let me wear trousers:(
