they still have Tibbles, theyre now on their way home to go in the house without Ginge, very hard, they are truely heartbroken! we all been crying all day!
will let you all know if they get a new kitten to keep Tibbles company, they are indoor cats, so it makes it harder to know it was a stupid mistake on their part that cost him his life xx

I would get another one, as we did several years ago when one of ours was run over. You always miss them.

How very sad Liesa. I think it is best to get another as soon as possible. When we lost our dog after 16 years I swore I didn't want another one. But 3 months later I had took in a rescue dog, and I was so glad.[grouphug]

Sorry to hear the bad news Liesa.

Sorry to hear this. I lost a kitten (Kirsty) the first time we let her out. She wandered onto a main road. I was devasted and felt so guilty. It was just weeks before we moved to a house in a quiet, cat friendly area and got married.
We got another kitten after our honeymoon, which helped - we have fond memories for Kirsty - she used to lay across my husband's shoulders and loved going in one of my straw bags - all we could see was her head.
We now don't have any cats as we go to Florida for long holidays. The kids would like a dog but now its me, mum, who's not ready!
