Taffy,
There are plenty of great villas on this site and all the guys will answer all your questions.
Like the others it is best to concentrate on the villa and what you are after, get a shortlist and then work out which one best suits your needs. Don't worry about not finding it, most are all within 10 -15 mins of Disney and all can be found off the I-4.
Happy shopping!
:D

Wherever you rent, you will get decent driving directions from the owner to get you to the villa without any hitches.

Hi Taffy, as suggested the villa owners will give really good instructions on getting to the villa(we`ve never had anyone getting lost yet) but if your still worried you could always hire the satellite navigation system through this site. Just click on the car hire and all the details on this are there.

Hello Taffy
Don't get worried about getting to the villa you will receive comprehensive driving instructions from the villa owner.
Driving is a big part of American life and it is really easy, and as for being close to the attractions most villa's are within half an hour or so of any of the attractions.
When we go to the parks we pop back to the villa later in the day for a swim and a relax then go back for the fire works.

Hi Taffy,
The driving really is easy - even I drove in the Summer when hubby returned to the UK for work, and really enjoyed it. If I can, anyone can[msnwink]
Why not make a wish list of what you are looking for and take it from there. You will find lots of community info and a map on either of the sites

Enjoy your search:)

Hi Taffy
I can answer this from a renters POV!
I've stayed on Westridge twice (not too far from Disney side of things), easy to find. Getting to Seaworld, Universal etc is easy enough too. Shops and restuarants within short driving distance.
I'm off next week (yay!) and staying on Oak Island Cove, quite close to Disney I believe. Some tell me the 192 is in walking distance, others say it's too far. I'm not fussed, we'll probably drive anyway as we are not bothered about having alcohol with our meals and quite often will pop into places like Walgreens on the way back (I love Walgreens!). We have been given driving directions from the owners and my dad is meeting us at the airport (they fly out tomorrow!) because DH has never driven in the States whereas my dad is a well seasoned driver.
We're already booked for March next year and are staying on Tuscan Ridge. This is much further down the HWY 27 than Westridge (but I4 isn't far?). We really don't mind about the distance though.
Haven't a clue about Sanford as I've never flown there, only Orlando International.Your best bet is to put in an enquiry to all 3 villa sites on the top of the page. Be specific in what you want/need (2 master suites, baby equipment) and what you would prefer but not essential (internet connection, jacuzzi, games room etc)) so that you get what you really want. It is out there, trust me. I got a heap of replies last week (probably about 75!), cut my short list to 27, then to about 8 before finally picking one. It took a while! But it was lot of fun.

Well if you like Walgreens there is one opposite the turn up to Oak Island form the 192 so you will be in your element!!!.
I am on Indian Creek just near Oak Island and wouldn't walk to the 192 not because of the distance which is not far but because of the path and heat though I have seen people do it.
Can I ask why you don't stay in the same villa twice - so you like the variety - Are you not afraid the next will not live up the the previous one ?

Alison I'll be in my element! You're right. [msnsmile2]
First time we went my dad booked the villa. Not sure how he found it, but it was lovely (massive 6 bed one). Second time my sister booked (we gate-crashed), smaller 4 bed villa this time but I think she booked it with the management company (she has used them loads of times now).
This time H and I booked and we wanted to be nearer the 192 (though did consider the 27). Booked it direct with owner (through here). have seen lots of pics and they have so friendly and helpful in all our communications I am confident we will not be disappointed. Just 3 of us, so a 3 bed villa will do us just fine.
We did check if the 3 bed villa was available for March, but it isn't, so we started the hunt for another one. Got lots of 3 bed quotes and was about to book when SIL, BIL and kids decided they wanted tto come too. It will be their first visit. We then needed/wanted more space so have booked a 4 bed on Tuscan Ridge because the villa looks great and ticks all the boxes on our wish list. Again, we booked it from the villa sites on here.
I think my parents are staying on Indian Creek, they have flown out today, we meet them next week. [msnsmile2]
Bring. it. on. [clap] I can't wait [msncool]
