Champagne in Luggage

Your wife, I'm guessing has already had her birthday, so it won't be the day you are drinking it that she is celebrating? So why not leave it at home, buy another bottle in the Duty Free shop and save the other one to "revive" you when you get home....go on spoil her. :)

I always get some in the duty free shop. Next time out I will have to get a bottle for my fabulous caretaker who recently had her anniversary dinner ruined by our guests [msncry]

I know. believe me iif it was mine it would have been opened on my birthday....although it is my Birthday while we are out there so maybe that's an excuse for another one!!![beer]

Just arrived back on a Virgin flight this morning after 3 glorious weeks including the wind and rain of hurricane Dennis! My husband is an excellent packer and always packs the duty free we buy on our outbound journey, in our suitcases on the return journey.After 27 years of travelling we have never had a broken bottle. One of the ways he protects the bottles is to use socks and then pack the bottles in the middle of the case, 4 Litres of spirits just unpacked and completely intact.
