Well here i sit in deepest london, just off blackfriars bridge. Scary thought, is i came into work via Kings Cross mainline and used the top deck of a double decker to make my way into work. This was about 45 minutes before this took place.
Managed to get hold of Sarah, just so that she can hear my voice, she is understandably very concerned, but there's not a lot we can do now. Mobile phones in central london are effectively down due to massive overuse. Land lines going out seem to be ok at the moment.
No idea on how and when i'll be getting home tonight, it maybe that i have to spend the night at work, time will tell.

Lee's office is in Tavistock Square where the bus exploded. He says it is not a pretty sight out there!
He is currently sitting in a coffee shop as he cannot get into the building for obvious reasons and cannot get home to Wiltshire either. It was very scary earlier on when i could not get through to him but thank heavens for 3G cards I now know he is OK. I think he is going to have to stay in London tonight and try and get back tomorrow - although who knows whether he can find somewhere to stay!

Sit tight Wilf. Nothing is moving. Kevin's now sitting in a cafe. He's going to wait a while and then see if he can get a cab to Ian's place.
Hopefully you'll be able to get home later. Will keep everything crossed for you, Ana's husband, Lee and Kevin.

I have just spoken to my friend who works in Canary Wharf, stated he has personnaly witnessed the shooting of a "suicide Bomber" outside his office. It does appear to be the "work" of terrorists.
Let us hope this is not just the start of a larger campaign.

Thinking of you all with loved ones in the City. My sister isn't working today - she would have been on the second carriage around the time of the Aldgate explosion, someone is looking after us today
-
Good grief Graham - that has not been on the news!!!

No I could not and do not wish to say anymore.Let me just say my colleague is reliable and I spoke to him at length as he is obviously quite shocked and needed to speak to someone.
Like everyone my thoughts go out to all those in London at the moment and people with relatives in the City.
The emergency services are doing a great job.

If they got one before the bomb went off then it definitely seems connected to the G8 Summit, since 7 bombs did go off.

My husband should have been at work today and would have also been caught up in this and would have been on one of the bombed trains depending on whether 'One' railway got him to London on time. I am so glad that due to us going to Holland tomorrow he has taken the day off. He is now glued to the television set thinking of what might have been. My sister in law would also have been caught up in this is off ill - thankfully.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all those poor innocent people caught up in this senseless act. It is a cowardly thing to do but I suppose those that have done it will put it done to being in the name of religion - as if that makes it okay
