If you are after watching some soccer or rugby then a venue which shows the game live is what you need.
US TV is **** and is just about OK if you don't mind watching ads for cars every 5 minutes.
There are plenty of threads where home owners wish to watch a match played by their club, and it matters not whether you are in the USA or Spain (for example), you just want to watch your club's game regardless (that is the underlying meaning of the word FAN - fanatic!)
As owners we come to Florida for plenty of reasons other than Disney, and to watch a good football match while getting away for a break from US cuisine is great. Don't knock it!

I'm a fan. Chelsea! But my point is, the Orlando pubs are usually full of expats complaining about the USA! It's somthing I avoid. Sorry you took it the wrong way.
We have the Fox Soccer Channel. It's Brighthouse # 128. We get six or so games each week during the season. We get most imoportant cup games. You should try some US games. They really aren't that bad. ESPN are showing more and more European games now. We had the Liverpool game live.
Next time you should try TGIF and have the Jack Daniels steak. Or The Outback and have one of their salads. I usually feel filled after one of their Caesers.
You should come over here and we can watch the 1970 replay at Old Trafford. It's one of my many DVDs.
Enjoy Florida.
