Hi Shane,
Welcome to the forums.
It may help to have a look at the following map which shows you the locations of the various communities.

We have stayed on various communities before buying our villa, we loved them all for different reasons.

I have never known, or spoken to, any of my guests prior to their initial enquiry requesting to rent my home. It was all done on mutual trust. Now I have some really lovely friends that I would never have had if I didn't own a villa, advertise it on the internet and then rent it out to strangers.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

I don't think you are alone......I can't get a lot of my American friends to even look at renting off of someone they don't know ...or that I don't know......

Great feedback from everyone. Thanks for the humor AND great information. I'll be sure to follow-up with my progress.
I've actually been to Disney many times, and even spent my honeymoon there! But, we've only stayed at a villa once before.

Can I ask where about in the USA you are...[msnsmile2]
I know a lot of the people I know worry about renting a villa because we have so many run down rentals on the Cape....I don't think you'll have that worry in FL.......nearly all of the homes are new....and very well looked after......[msnsmile2]

I'm in Maryland, about 40-miles north of Washington, DC.

Welcome to the forum Shane. Just want to add that if the villa you chose is causing you to feel bad vibes then there may be a reason for that! Keep looking - there are so many great villas and great owners - you will find the perfect one and more importantly the one that you feel comfortable with.

Maryland isn't horrible. It has a great location, but the taxes are really killer. And if I had to move across the Atlantic, I think I'd choose Ireland... However, I've never been to Europe.

Hi, I think you will find that celebration is not zoned for short term rental so you will have difficulty findy a place ther. We like Hamilton Reserve, close to all the shops, resturaunts etc. close enough to Disney, but a nic quiet neighbourhood.
