Yes they will :), well thats if you buy a new Canon Digital SLR and not another make.
What I did to confirm this was take my lenses into a camera shop and tried them, all the books say 'Most should'. so I checked mine on a 10D. I think they say this to cover themsleves
Chrisj, I got surprisingly good value for my 13 year old Canon EOS-10 body and 4 lenses in a part exchange. If you have 3 EOS bodies and lenses in good shape, I suggest you try selling them, including on e-bay. If you get good money, you may not need to top up a lot for the 20D. With luck, wifey may not even find out! [msnwink]
Amy (and Chrisj) although a lot of the older Canon EOS lenses fit the modern digital EOS SLRs, I think you would be wiser to invest on the newer Ultrasonic models for faster and quieter autofocusing.

Thanks, my 4 lenses are all ultrasonic ones, they are only a few years old, so hopefully they will fit, I will hopefully trade the bodies in,they are in exellent condition still with all the original packaging.

mmmm original packaging , erm dont think I have unless its in the attic
According to the hubby (who has several Canon Cameras including a 10D) Canon number there camera in such a way that the lower the number the better the facilities, in which case the 20D will not have as many facilites as the 10D

Chris, my friend bought his 300D in Freeport when they were in the Bahamas, he reckons it was a good 25% below the US prices he'd looked at, so if you need a good excuse for a cruise................

if im right the 20D is an updated version of the 10D, Cannon had been listening to 10D
users about little improvements etc.

I save all the boxes to my cameras for when I trade them it, it helps to get a better price, I have them all and like you say there is no place better than the attic for storing them.

Not necessarily. The 'lower the better' was certainly true for film EOS cameras, but the 20D is claimed to be a successor to the 10D and so is likely to have more features. For a start, it has a larger and more powerful sensor and looking at the price tag, there are bound to be other goodies. Check the specs on 'dpreview' via Google.
