well on a brighter note whose meeting up on the 24th i assume its this month, i think this must of been arranged before i started on this thread hope you dont think im being cheeky and inviting myself im just nosey thats all pat

Gwen here - still no weight loss so now defecting to slimming world - going to give the 7 day menu a try this week - about to register properly - in the meantime could anyone point me to the direction of the SW lemon meringue recipe??? will let you know how I get on - though the 7 day thing may need 8 days to kick in after my binge yesterday (never done that in 8 mths but blew it yesterday!!!) Thanks Gwen - also now only looking realistically at half a stone for Xmas - but at the moment even a couple of pounds shifted would be a step forward!!

Quick pop in before work.
Lost 1/2lb this week, not much but I haven't really tried, post holiday blues:( I really must get back into the swing of things.
Have been dipping into the biscuit tin at work, something I don't usually do and Hannah has been cooking at school, apple crumble one day and victoria sponge the next[msnscared]
Jessica birthday yesterday and we are taking he and some friends ice skating on Saturday then all back here for some food, so there will be lots of goodies around[msneek]
I will not be able to make the meet up either, I have 2 elderly Aunts who live near Glasgow and one died while I was in Florida, she was 92. Her funeral was the day we landed at Gatwick so was unable to go to her funeral. One of my sisters made it so at least one of us got there. I am trying to get up to see my other Aunt around that time, have been looking at flights Southampton-Glasgow.
Off to work now. Have a good day.

Julie, i'm going to cancel the meet up as it's going to be difficult for me and a few others too, i will dm everyone, it's a difficult time of year and perhaps in the new year would be better[msnsmile]
Pat, well done on the weigh loss[clap][clap][clap] that's great news, there was going to be a meet up on the 24th in York Pat but it's looking difficult for quite a few of us, you will be more than welcome to come when we rearrange a new date, not sure where you live Pat but i think Janny? is organising a down south one for the people who are too far from york[msnsmile]

catch you all later
Jill and Sally, how did you get on last night?
