wow 5lbs off that's a great loss!!!!!
the website says 1/2 syn for the package serving size which is 100gms when cooked, you do not need to add oil or butter just water and if 100gms is not enough then have 200gms for only 1 syn
well done on the weight loss, it's a great start especially with you eating more[msnsmile2]
you still have one healthy B so how about another bowl of porridge at supper time or wholemeal toast and jam or maybe use a few of those syns of yours and have a choccie treat[msntongue]

i've had a pretty good day too
usual brekkie of toast and ginger jam (2syns)
then a 5 mile countryside walk with Oliver, dh and kiddies
for lunch we all had a full english brekkie with quorn sausages, bacon, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, 28gm black pudding (2.5syns)
apple
chicken salad for tea with sweet chilli dressing (1.5syns)
mini honeycomb bites (4.5syns)
total syns 10.5[angel]
looking forward to weighing in tommorow, might be very close to that 3 stone award[msnoo]

Sorry Mizzy, I succombed tonight, had that G&T, only a small one though. Then went and had a glass of wine with supper, so ended up with 16 syns today, have said to DH please no alcohol tomorrow. Otherwise I have had a pretty good day. Two long walks, sorting cupboards out, throwing out clothes, making a large pile for altering and doing some of the alternations of my favourite things which have hardly been worn.
Large bowl of fruit
Smoked salmon salad, then loads of fruit
Vegetarian mince cottage pie, mixed fresh veg, large bowl of fruit - 2 syns
G&T - 5 syns
Glass of wine - 5 syns
Crisps - 4 syns
Must try harder tomorrow otherwise I will never get the remaining 7lbs off.
maybe a guilty concience have had a bit of a blip today not a big one but enough to spoil the day (it was chocolate) now this usually spoils my week i normally go all to pot but i will talk myself into a good start tomorrow and hopefully regain the syns by the time i get weighed on thursday, in the last 4 weeks i have lost on 3 of them and stayed the same on the 4th so i dont want to go back to bad habits, im going to bed now and will fall asleep convincing myself of a loss on thursday here goes pat
the way i always look at it Pat is the syns are there for a reason, we could never go without our favourite tipple or choccie, that would be just seeting us up to feel deprived and that's when most dieters fail
Jill, you have your g+t girl[msnwink] you've done fantastic and lost all this weight with the occasional drink because you kept it within your syns so don't deprive yourself thinking it will be quicker with less syns, SW have studies to show that's rarely true
it's going to be harder for you now because you are so close to target but with your determination you will get there and we will ALL celebrate with you[clap][clap][clap]

the tipples dont bother me but the choc does but not as often as it used to but you hit the nail on the head if i deprive myself totally i end up giving up, so we just carry on and not let us get us down when we sucumm to temptation, either that or its not the nails head that needs hitting good luck tonight mizzy, but if youve had a good week luck doesnt come into it, its deserved pat

Succumbed last night to chocolate cake from M&S last night - it is to die for!! Seen all those ads? It tastes as good as it looks!!
My planned breakfast of a banana is still in my bag for when I get starving at the hospital, have just had a v small salad with cottage cheese, and will be having tomato pasta with large salad for supper, as I need to be an angel today and tomorrow after that pud last night! I am going to work out the syns later on, although in a speedy whizz round last night chucked the packaging in the recycling box which was collected this morning! Still I am sure I can find it out!

another good day for me today. Up at 6am, 6.3K on the treadmill, and walk with the dogs late afternoon after work.
Food diary today.
Green day (I think!)
1oz porridge (no bananas- bought some but still too green to eat[msntongue])
mid morning - 1 x light digestive biscuits (3 syns - I know, thats alot for one biscuit, next time I'll look it up before I eat it!)
Lunch - tuna salad - 100g of tuna -Healthy b (I think) with 2 desert spoons of horseradish sauce, 1 syn
Apple and satsuma
Tea - 100g of vegetable cous cous with loads of mushrooms, baby corn and brocoli - 1 syn
Total syns - 5
