Good Evening everyone,
Hope everyone has had a good day. Fiona, I hope everything went ok in Oxford today, thinking of you[grouphug].
Mizzy and Julie, fantastic achievement[clap][clap][clap][clap][clap][clap]
Well I did lose 1lb last week which is ok but I'm not going to be where I want to be before my next florida visit if I don't pick up the pace a bit. Had a good day yesterday, the children are doing basketball and martial arts which keeps me out of the house for most of the day, I even took a salad for my lunch. When we got back I took the dogs out for a walk then after that got on the treadmill for 35 mins[angel][angel]. That said, its all gone to pot again today.[msnscared]. No salad no treadmill and only a shortish walk with the dogs! Oh well, tomorrows another day! I think I need some of your resolve Mizzy or Julie![msnwink].
My ED and I did a self defence course last night. The people who are doing the martial arts and basketball course for the kids, have come over from America and did a very condensed two hour self defence course. Just the basics but very very interesting and good fun!
Well, I'm popping off for a while to bath the kids, I'll be back later,
Julie B

Could anyone tell me the password for the sw website? Mizzy and Julies successes have inspired me to look into it all again into more detail. As I said before, the clocks ticking.

a pretty good day for me ladies after i got that "i must eat NOW!!!!" bit over at tea time i made a clafoutis from the new mag
it worked out at 5 syns for a quarter and to give you a guide i used a 10" flan tin so pretty big portion for those 5 syns, it was basically a sweet yorkshire pudding batter sort of mix poured onto apricots but it did taste yummy[msntongue]
i'm planning on making individual ones using my big yorkshire pud tin and with peach slices tommorow
here's the apricot one i made earlier

Julie B a lb is great and what you should be aiming for if the weights going to stay off for good so well done you[clap][clap][clap]
i'm making the christmas pudding ice cream out of the new mag today which i have to give a good stir every 30 mins over the next 5 hours, it's a good job i'm planning a day in, i'm also wondering if i should attempt to find the childrens bedroom carpets or if it's a waste of my time it being mid week of the school hols[msnscared]
and guess what, after a visit to my mil's from hell on monday she asked me in very accusing tones if i'm addicted to the internet[msnmad] here she is asking me to sort out specialist travel insurance for her cruise and to show her the ships details, not to mention booking and paying for her to come with us to disneyland paris last year and all of a sudden i've got an addiction[msneek] well the answer quite simply is yes, i probably am but heck i don't drink or smoke and i certainly don't neglect things to sit on here and what business is that of hers anyhow? [msnmad] she has suggested i spend more quality time with her son and maybe play scrabble on a night like she and her husband used to do, i don't think she gets it that the only version of scabble her son would be interesd in playing would involve taking off clothes[msnembarrased] and that's only if i could prise him off the xbox or away from sky sports first[msnoo]

Hi gals, ½lb loss last night and as I was wearing a jumper was quite chuffed. We did some work in class where we adapted recipes to SW ones, well that taught us all a few things, I think we could do with that regularly, also taught me I do NOT know my book inside out like I think I do and I must re-read it and start looking everything up again.
Have a great hols JulieA, you lucky thing, we are still hoping to get out for 10 days next month or early Dec but depends on ED. Have just had a cancellation for Xmas and would love to go ourselves but have to have MIL for Xmas so that's that knocked on the head.
Mizzy don't even go there about MILs - mine, upon being told of ED's cancer seemed to take no notice and then kept saying in a loud voice, hasn't she put on weight. I could have killed her. ED has not put on any more, just not wearing the most flattering of outfits last time.
I prized the mag out of ED's hands last night so am planning on trying some of the recipes, love the look of that pud Mizzy, you are good to be trying all these things.
Uneventful trip to Oxford, all packing removed which was quite painful but the reconstruction is looking good. Told us the biopsy results are not back but then wanted us to come up next week to the head honcho when he is back from hols, but I pointed out we were seeing consultant radiologist Mon and surely they will want her opinion, so we're back in a fortnight. Had a very helpful response from Cancer Research Nurse from the Q&A section and they have given me some info to pour over. I think it is time to go in armed with tons of questions as there are now implications of loss of hearing due to radiotherapy and no-one has said that so far.
Well done Julie on that weight loss when you are so near to target, you are doing really well. And I am so pleased for you about the tests, there is so much of it about nowadays, just make sure girls you are checking your boobs!
This week's password is pumpkin.
We have to make something for a Halloween party for next week's SW, any suggestions anyone? She is keen we do something with pumpkin, rather than just soup which is what I do with the innards of the jack'o'lantern, anyone done anything for a pud? All the pumkpin pies are hideously high in calories / syns but I wonder if there is anything with filo pastry??
