Fiona, glad to hear things are over for now. I hope that more surgery is not necessary. Please give ED and big[grouphug][grouphug][grouphug] from me. I'm not surprised you were wined and dined over the last two nights you deserved it.
Just back from weigh-in and have lost 4lbs, so am very pleased. That is now my 2.5 stone award. Have now got to decide what my target is, planning for another 3lbs and then will see.
Off to eat supper now, I'm starving. DH poured me a G&T when I got home as a reward.

Fiona sorry we were typing at the same time, glad you are all back home, take care of yourself and ED[grouphug]

Fiona, good to hear your back home with your daughter, she'll feel much more comfortable in her own surroundings, take care[grouphug]
Jill, that's great news 4lbs off and a 2 1/2 stone award, it took me 10 months to get that amount off[msnembarrased] so well done, you should be really proud [clap][clap][clap][clap][clap]
got some answers with regards to my son but also some more shocking news, the course is run by the borough council in conjunction with the school, i've had a really long chat with the main instructor and he didn't know about James's needs to the extent that he should have done, he said that had he been told then he would never have taken my child onto a public highway without his support, but the teacher said he would be ok, so the blame lies with the school, he did explain clearly to me what happened though and it wasn't a nr miss with one car, there was a nr miss with three cars at a right turn junction[msneek][msnscared], the truth is that my sons teacher made the decision to send James out without the support, and she made a big mistake, not only that but when confronted she lied to me and said the course instructor wouldn't allow the support to go "off school" with James and that he had to be able to do it by himself
she has only been teaching James since sept and i have told the head how appalled i am that she made a decision that was not hers to make, she ignored the safety and support that was carefully put into place and then tried to mislead me as to who was to blame[msnmad]
we're having meeting with all parties on monday, she doesn't really know me that well but i think that's about to change
on a lighter note
we've had Olly to the beach and off his lead this tea time and he loved it[msnsmile2] we've had lots of throwing and chasing and running about, me as well as the dog, so with fingers crossed i should see a weight loss come monday[msnwink]
