PS Food diary for today.
28g of porridge made with half semi skimmed milk and half water with a teaspoon of splenda sweetener.
Mid morning - banana
lunch - tuna salad with a wholemeal pittabread followed by an orange.
Tea - chicken breast with 2 medium sized halves of boiled potato and loads of veggies.
You'll be pleased to know that I'd finished my 2 litres of water by 2.30 so although I carried on drinking after that, I stopped counting!
Also, 40 mins on the treadmill[sporty][sporty] this morning and a walk with the dogs this evening.
Aren't I an[angel]!

Hi Girls
Yes, surviving the school holidays, just! Feel like an ATM, dispensing money here and there to them, as they go out the door.
Being very good on the SW, but reading on the porridge here, I think I am probably having double what I should, so will correct that!
Have walked heaps too, popped my MP3 player on and off I went, mainly to 'de-stress' as well as shift a few kilos!
Jill - have a great time in florida (goes without saying), a safe in your suitcase, how will you manage that? Perhaps you need someone in the suitcase with it to keep an eye on it - I'm free!
Sally D - 4 Stone!!!! What a fantastic achievement girl, how long has that taken you and how much more do you want to lose? You must feel like a different women!
Congrats to Kazzie and Sally !
Fiona - hold on there, I put on 4lbs, but its coming off again
Oh Julie its you, your the soon to be SW consultant. Fantastic! I am so excited, you have been a long distant one for me, so that's fabulous! Wish they would start up out here!
Wanted to ask what Suhi/California Rolls would be. Not sure if they are big there, but everyone has them here, and they are gorgeous. The california Rolls are like Sushi, but filled with cooked chicken, or prawns, or beef or veggies and tuna. Wondered if they were more a Green food than a Red, with the Rice & Seaweed surrounding them?

What a day, hardly had a thing to eat. Caitlin has not been well since last weekend, I took her to see our GP on Monday who perscribed anti biotics, as she was getting worse I took her back to see the doctor yesterday, different one though, this one said she had a viral infection. After a very bad night last night and hardly a thing to eat since the weekend I took her to a walk in center this morning. The doctor took one look at her throat and told me to take her straight to Alder Hey as he suspected she had Quincey. We sat in Alder Hey for two hours before seeing a doctor who then said she had a bad dose of tonsilitis, she has ate a meal tonight for the first time this week and is now feeling a bit better.
Got home from hospital and went straight to school to pick up Eve, dropped her off at my sisters as there was a meeting at school regarding secondary school applications.
Picked up the girls went home, quick coffee and wash then back out to school for a meeting regarding the children who have just started reception, returned home at 9pm with a banging headache.
Thank heavens every day isn't like today, off to bed now[zzz][zzz][zzz][zzz]

i expect it always feels strange when you're the new person and have not yet made friends but give it a go for a few weeks Julie B and then see how you feel
once you get to know a few people you should find that you get a lot more out of the class then tonights first visit
if that's not the case then you can continue following the plan and we'll always be here to support you[grouphug]
all that aside are you excited at the choices of food yet[msnsmile2]
Julie, i'm not having choccie tonight i'm having a snack pack of tesco kids strawberry mini bites the're like a sort of yogurt topped fig roll biccie with strawberry puree inside (3.5syns per pack)[msntongue]

Morning ladies, I am so glad its Friday as getting up so early takes its toll by Friday[msnwink]
Julie b, I am so sorry you found it boring, I agree with Mizzy I would give it a few weeks to make friends and see if things improve, the consultant may have had an OFF day, and things may be better a few weeks down the line. I think classes are only as good as the consultant and I have heard that some are not as good as others, mine is not the most dynamic but the time suits me[msnwink]
Paula, so sorry the hear how you week has gone[grouphug] hope Caitlin gets better soon[grouphug]
Theresa, glad to hear you are surviving the school hols and doing so well. I am not sure about the california rolls but will try to find out for you later[msnwink]
Mizzy your treat sounded very tasty[msnwink]

Well done for losing Sally - after the week you have had any kind of loss is good news [clap]
Jill can't be too disappointed - she's on her way to Florida so that will cheer her up [clap]
Paula - hope Caitlin feels better very soon [grouphug]
Have a good Friday everyone [msnsmile]

good morning everyone
Paula, sorry i mised your post last night we were typing at the same time and i switched the computer off seconds after to get myself to bed
so sorry about poor Caitlin[grouphug] is she any better this morning?
i agree with you Julieanne, i'm sure Jill's not worrying at all about the little gain, she has done fantastic and once back home she'll be right back on track, anyway, how have you been Julieanne?, you didn't say so are we presuming that it's been a great week for you
Julie, i also agree with you, a consultant can make or break a class but the members play a big part too, my consultant does two classes on a monday one at 5pm and mine at 7pm and i hate the earlier class, the atmostphere just isn't as good as ours and we seem to have a lot more laughs[msnsmile2]
Theresa, it's great to hear from you and sounding so upbeat, i know how hard it is especially during the school hols, the sushi/california rolls i wouldn't have a clue how to syn but saying that, my daughter at the minute is taking a mini sushi pack to school as part of her lunchbox and that contain one mini california roll plus 3 other items and for the full pack it's 8syns
well ladies the weekend is upon us again, is it going to be a good one?

Mizzy I didn't get weighed this morning as I slept in [msnembarrased]
But I have been to the gym 3 times and worked hard and I think I have eaten well. My biggest mistake is probably that I tend to stick to the same meals like chicken and peppers in wholemeal pitta for lunches (easy for work) and stir fries, salmon & chicken for evening meals. I probably need more variety in my menus!
-
well i'm really pleased to hear that it's going well Julieanne, how about trying a curry and rice for tea or even perhap a chinese take away, if you choose carefully you can work it in a still lose weight[msnwink]
my dh is not at work so i'm planning on a sleep in tommorrow[msnsmile2]
Julie B, how's it going?
isn't it great news about Sally[grouphug]
