I've been eating Seriously Oaty for brekkie and it fills me till lunch time. Haven't been able to eat it this week tho, after my tummy bug at the weekend I couldn't face it. Have had Spec K instead but will go back to porridge next week.
Lucy - you give so much good advice [msnsmile2]. I wish you could be with me 24/7 [msnwink]
Liesa - stick with Lucy's (Julie) ideas and you won't go far wrong. But you know that already. Hope you had a good shop

Perhaps you should change your business then [msnwink] [msnwink]
You'd be great at it I'm sure and you'd have a good customer base to start with just from us OV members [msnwink]

julieann-just noticed your post on the "countdown". It was getting below 1 month to go that spurred me on to have that last push to get to target weight. I increased the exercise and thought really carefully about everything I ate and did not cheat at all-I just kept daydreaming about how it would be worth it!(and it was)
As is well documented, I am now trying again[msnscared] and have decided not to get weighed until next Fri as I am scared of the results! However, I am trying hard, but it's not quite the same incentive as a forthcoming trip.
When I managed to lose my last few pounds, I was eating porridge for breakfast, and having small lunch, such as a low cal salad sandwich etc and a healthy evening meal. It seemed to help when I included healthy snacks in between, mainly apples and diet yoghurts, along with a few pumpkinseeds and linseeds. I liked Lucy's post about metabolism and think the snacks revved mine up!

Hi Aiminghigh, I'm nearly at my target weight - just one last effort to get there. :D
I do sometimes wonder tho if I eat too much of the same things and should I vary it a bit more? But then I'm scared to do that cos what I'm doing seems to be working and I don't want to spoil that [msnoo]
I'll be starting all over again in six weeks time when I bring home a few??? extra pound with me [msneek]

today is a new beginning!!!! i am going to really knuckle down with this healthy eating !!!!! i have got out of bed today almost unable to move!! the arthritis is getting me down!!! i must lose weight in order to exercise more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and my body is telling me it is struggling!
so my start today is a lovely bowl of hot ready brek!!
had it yesterday for brekki and felt considerably full till 1pm, which really pleased me, then had a slow gentle walk around the town!!
so today is a new day!!!!

Come on Liesa, you can do it, we are all here with you[clap][clap]
Well yesterday I had to go and get some smaller casual trousers as my old ones are falling down[clap]
I dumped into 3 people who I hadn't seen for a while and they all said "wow, you have lost alot of weight", gave me a good lift that did.
My husband Peter is just about on target, he is 5 foot 10 and now weighs 12 stone 5lb, he started at 14 stone 2lb. He wants to get a few more pounds off but I think he looks good now, brilliant infact.
He used to do loads of 10k's but hasn't done any for a while but he has sent away for the Great South Run in October. He also applied for Bognor 10k but they are full up. He often goes for a run in the evening but he also has to do alot of running etc for work.
Have a good weekend everyone[sporty][sporty][beer][grouphug]

Oh Liesa please don't let it get you down [grouphug]
Altho I know that is easier said than done...
The sun is shining, spring is well and truly here and its a long weekend - so try and keep smiling [msnsmile2]
And you've got all of us rooting for you [msnwink]
Don't quite know how I have managed to put weight on this week but I have [msnsad]
I didn't eat at all on Sunday/Monday due to my bug and what I have eaten since has been good but somehow I've managed to put a pound on [msnoo]
But hey I've lost a lot already so can't be too upset.
It's my birthday at the weekend so I won't be being very good [}:)]
