It is very de-motivatng I have to be honest, I have had a really busy week rushing around like a manic, but I got up early every day to ensure that I did a good run every morning, and even though I had meals out I compensated for the rest of the day and was careful. But it will happen I hope? I really though that this was the year I would get back to 10 and a half stone and its so hard to be be only a stone away but not seem, no matter what I do, to shift it[msnsad]

Hi everyone.
Don't lose heart Lucy-it sometimes feels like you're going nowhere with this weight loss but then all of a sudden, it starts to come off.
(I have times like that with my almost constant struggle)
Trev-take care with your calf, don't make it worse by running.
Julie & Leisa-well done
Sally-hope you're managing to stick with it.
I was weighed this morning[msnscared]and was 6lbs heavier than pre Florida! I was disappointed because firstly, I have been very good indeed since we returned a wk and a half ago(so I dread to think what I was when I got back!) and secondly, whilst I didn't restrict myself whilst there, I didn't exactly pig out! It just goes to confirm what I've said before, that I put weight on so easily. Since returning, I've also exercised daily! I feel heavier though, my trousers are certainly tighter!
So, I must get back on track properly now. Whilst events this weekend will prevent me from being too "strict" , from Monday, I am going to really try hard again and will get weighed next Fri. It will probably take me at least a month to lose the 6lbs and if I don't do it now, I'll repeat the old cycle of letting more and more creep on very gradually.
Good luck for next week everybody

well done julie, you're on a roll now dreaming of the olive garden and the mouse ear ice cream!
dig in lucy - i wish i could run even every other day(old git syndrome)
aiming high - as your name suggests! keep on. mind i am disgusted with you for only being able to put on half a stone. i hope to better that[msnwink]

oh julie!! , this is a first!!! never heard you sound so deflated about your healthy eating regime!!!
dont lose hope!!, you have done so well, please dont give up or give in to temptation!![msnwink] you have come so far!! and lets not forget there is still another 8 months to this year left, we've only been doing this for around 3-4 months, you know that sometimes we come to a bit of a blip!! unfortunately mine seems to hit me around 17 stone! when i first went to WW some years ago i weighed in at 19lb 2 oz mine said 18 something, and whenever i try to lose weight i always get to around 17 stone then hit a blooming standstill!!! so frustrating, i get so angry with myself for not trying harder whatever i eat or however good i am i just cant get into the 16 stone area and stay there, it always happens thats why i always set my personal goal for a stone at a time, and to sit the 16 stone area would be really good for me!!!!!
lets have some positive thoughts on this all of us!!!!!!!!
we can and we will!!!!![clap][clap][clap]
