Lost 2lb this week after weeks of losing nothing, really pleased:) could eat a cream cake[msntongue] only joking.

Hello everybody-well done to all who've lost or stayed the same-keep it up! To those who may have gained(who's looking at me?[msnembarrased]) just get back on track!
I've not posted much lately, although I mentioned last week I'd returned from Florida probably around 6lbs heavier. I really only have to look at an Olive Garden breadstick(ahh..memories)and put on a pound!Although I've still not been weighed, I've exercised daily, eaten healthily and feel a bit slimmer already-I shall update you with weight stats in a couple of days.
My main reason for writing this is to mention one point in particular. Before going on holiday, I stuck religiously at my diet and exercised a lot. I normally do a few ab exercises as part of my normal routine, but this time, I really went to town. Although I have never been seriously overweight, I can never remember having anything remotely approaching a "six pack".(Especially after 3 children) However, this time was different. I got to my target weight before going and had gained some muscle definition on my stomach! I can tell I haven't gained too much and am not "overweight", (although I will get back to my pre hol weight asap,)but I just cannot believe how that ab tone and definition has all but gone in just 2 weeks. Yes, I ate well, had pudding and the odd [msnwink] ice-cream, but it just goes to show how true the old adage"use it or lose it" is.I had thought about continuing the exercise whilst there, but I really needed a complete rest-now I'm wondering if I should have done. What would you all do? If you worked hard and got to your goals, would you throw caution to the wind on holiday or maintain the discipline?

Think Im a bit better I had let my iron supplements lapse and think that was the cause as Im always amaemic have been since teanage years, so must remember to take them!
Im very busy at the moment was at a networking event till late last night got another one today and again tomorrow so going to jump on treadmill now before my children wake!
Aiminghigh - good point you made there - as my personal trainer used to say you start to lose the muscle definition as you walk out the gym hence you have to keep doing it!
