Fiona, I am so sorry to hear your news[msnsad]. Fingers crossed that all will be well again very soon. Its about time that you had some good news, lets hope the good news is just around the corner. I will be thinking about you and your family. Take care.
Karen
Thing of you too Fiona,[grouphug][grouphug], you both must be devastated. The fact that you can even think of sticking to any food plan is a testimont to you. Stay strong and you'll get through.[grouphug].
Well with DH being off this week, I've been good still, well kind of![msnwink]. I've not been eating anything I shouldn't but have been skipping lunch some days[msntongue] cos we've been busy! I know I know, its bad, but Tuesday, back to work, back to treadmill and back to good eating routine.Honest [msnwink].
I'm hoping that when I weigh tomorrow, I'll have lost that extra 1lb put on over the holiday. I'll let you know. It'll be the first time in a long time that I haven't had a weight gain over the summer hols. Thats when any diet, no matter how well I'm doing, goes out the window and I gradually end up at square one again, not this time[msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2].
Have a great day.
Julie B
Thank you all for your kind thoughts and words. Honestly I really can tell you we feel very positive - if you had heard the frightening diagnosis 2 weeks ago from the Registrar, he was talking of amputation, brain surgery, chemo etc. So although the news is bad in terms of the cancer being so aggressive, the fact that is has not spread is such a relief. Obviously we will know more once we have seen the specialist unit at Oxford, but we do feel this is a best worst case scenario.
Take away chinese last night so enough said! Back to porridge for brekkies tpday, fritatta for lunch, and making chicken curry for supper.
It's good you are keeping positive Fiona -you are a source of strength to your family .
John and I are thinking of you all .
Good morning all.
So glad you are feeling so positive Fiona. Not surprised you broke the diet last night, I'm sure we all would have.
Mizzy, I followed your advice and did an express day yesterday. Can I do them on successive days or not? Let me know if the food diary is OK.

Fiona it's good to hear you sounding so positive , i know that they scare the hell out of you when they give you a prognosis, they always give the worst of the worst case scenario, but glad to hear that's hopefully not going to be the case for your daughter, stay strong[grouphug]
Jill, is this the success express plan where you use the 1/3rd to 2/3rds option?, you can do this all the time or swap back onto red, green or mix to max whenever it suits
