Sharon and Jackie - great to hear from you in Florida - hope the weather improves [msnsad]
Mizzy - sounds as if you have your work cut out organising your party - don't work too hard [grouphug]
Your food plan sounds lovely - i'm sure it will all be worth it and you'll have a great time [clap]
I've been naughty again and had chinese for lunch - but I had done four hours work in the garden so hopefully balanced out [msnembarrased]
Off to the gym in the morning too [sporty]
Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend

Sorry Sharon, I replied after your post this morning about Bubba Gumps without even saying glad you arrived safely or anything! It was early though, so thats my excuse, I was only up so early on a Sunday to take my sis to the airport. Anyway, hope you are having a fab time and sorry if the weather is not fantastic for you.
Julie, I know that you are usually good at making sure you eat the right things and plenty of fruit and veg and things, but I tend to find that the more healthy the food that I eat the more prone I am to being ill. I know that sounds silly, but I can practically guarantee that within a fortnight of sticking to a really good healthy diet I start to get colds and am just generally run down. I have found that I am much better if I take a vitamin supplement.
Mizzy, I really dont envy you having to do all the food preparation for your anniversary bash. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. A big group of friends and us used to take it in turns to have a big bash every couple of months and there was always at least 25. It did get a bit too much in the end and we only do these parties very occasionally now, mainly for birthdays and such.
Jackie, glad to hear that you are now safely at your villa and hope you get sorted with your hot tub.
Julieanne, I hope the gardening has cancelled out the chinese!
Janny, hope you are feeling a little less fatigued now and you enjoyed your chinese, you did deserve it after today.
Jill, go for it girl! I am sure with your determination that you will get rid of those last few lbs before your trip.
Sorry if I have left anybody out. I find it hard enough to remember my own name at the moment! Lol. Lily has been a nightmare today, think so far she had been trying to make us believe she was a little angel! errr! No way, after today we know the truth!

Hi ladies, thanks for your good wishes.
Karen... thanks for your message[msnsmile]
The weather this morning was lovely but like Jackie says, we've been having some right storms this afternoon and early evening. Got caught out whilst out down International Drive, so had to nip into some more shops till the rain had stopped[msnwink][msnwink]!!
Jackie....Hope they have your Spa in stock, if not, you can pop around to our place and jump in ours:D:D
Well Julieanne, hope you enjoyed your chinese[msnsmile2] The gym practise will burn it all off[msnwink]
Mizzy..Good luck with your weigh in, with all that cleaning you'll have lost more than you realise.
Julie, Hope you're feeling better soon and back 100%[grouphug]
Well I've been naughty today and had some lovely key lime cheesecake!!...never had any before so had to have a taste[msnembarrased]..only had half as Harry decided he wanted it as well (bless him). Had good intentions of burning the calories off this afternoon doing some gardening at our villa but unfortunately rain stopped play. Better intentions tomorrow[msnwink]

Morning girls
Well I survived the walk took 5 1/2 hours inc pit stops and the weather was kind -I even got a bit burnt.
Ate lots of fruit on the way round anddrank lots but some kind soul had made brownies for the walkers at the half way point and I did have a small one [msnembarrased] but am counting it as 6 syns which with my chinese gives me a total of 11 1/2 for the day so not too bad .
Hope you all have a good holiday today and enjoy yourselves
-
Sharon and Jackie hope the weather improves, I have to admit it has put us off booking to go in August having been in August evey year from 1997-2004 however I am still jealous and would rather be there than here[msnwink] Have a great time both of you!!!
Karen my feeling poorly is the aftermath of my bad migraine, when I have a bad one they leave me feeling bruised and with mild symptoms for a few days[msnsmile2]
Mizzy your party will be wonderful but don't over do it and make yourself ill[grouphug]
Julieanne, don't beat yourself up, maybe you should consider just maintaining your current weight? In the last photo you looked great to me! Talking of photos have we had one from you Karen yet????[msnwink][msnwink][msnwink]
Jill great food diaries!!!
Janny well done that sounds great[sporty][clap][sporty][sporty][clap]
Have a good day all!!!!
Paula and Theresa hope you are both doing OK[grouphug]

good morning everyone
i've just had sneaky peek on my scales and it's not looking good[msnscared] [msnsad] i think like Julie B once the children get back to school i'll find it easier and be able to focus better
i'm also really tired so that makes for some really lousy food choices and i know Julie i'm going to have to take it easy and relax about this party or else i'll be so worn out i won't enjoy it
i will not be able to get logged on until quite late after tonights weigh in because we have my diet buddy and her family coming round for supper after the weigh in
my plan to remain the same over the school hols has pretty much worked and i see this as a positive because i haven't undone all my hard work, despite how demanding the children can be i've managed to keep it all together[clap]
i'll remain positive no matter what the result on the scales tonight
Janny can i say congratulations on your walk and it sounds like you made some good food choices and still enjoyed a nice chinese meal with your family
Sharon, sorry i forgot to mention that i'm glad you arrived safely too, enjoy your shopping[msnwink]
Julieanne, chinese is ok as long as you choose wisely and build it in
and without leaving everyone out i'd like to say to everyone struggling at the minute then [grouphug] i know how you feel and hopfully it's going to get better
and for those who are doing fantastic, well done [clap][clap][clap]

Hi all, still no phone line[xx(]. Have been working Sat & Mon having a retail sale and getting home v late so throwing meals together. Hit Waitrose for a quick shop yesterday and not really keeping to plan, but trying not to be too naughty! So we'll ignore the pain au chocolat that I bought everyone for breakfast and yes I ate then!![msnsmile2]
Well done Jan on that walk (or was it a run?) You are doing so well on all these.
Sorry the weather isn't too good Jackie, but at least you are out there! Typical bank holiday weather here, breezy and rain and the odd bright sunshine! Had spit-spot rain walking the dogs this morning, and had just got to work when the heavens opened.
Julie I used to get dreadful migraines so I know how you feel, I now get them only occasionally, and usually when I have travelled and got particularly stressed. Only good thing to come out of it is not being able to eat!!
Well have a good day everyone, my mailbox at tiscali is now virtually full so I am having to redirect my emails or everything will be bounced back. Still fuming .....!!
-
Good luck Mizzy!!!!
Good day again today except I am still not eating enough as my tummy is still suffering from the migraine, plus I had a lay in which means I am eating breakfast at almost lunch time etc and I only had one skinny latte too[msneek]
Food diary so far...........

skinny latte = 1 HC a
frittata with scalloped pots and peas
Muller lite apple pie = 1 syn

Good evening all.
Sorry to hear you are still not feeling 100% Julie. Although I do not get migraines I do get very severe headaches and nothing seems to work for me. I am not able to take anything with aspirin in and paracetamol is just not strong enough for me when I get a bad one. Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow.
Fiona, hope things get sorted out soon with BT.
Janny, well done on completing the walk. I hope it wasn't too windy for you, it was certainly blowing fairly hard down here on the coast.
Jackie and Sharon, keep on enjoying yourself in Florida. Jackie, did you know that there is a new pool store on the 27 which is selling spas if you cannot get the one you want at Home Depot [?]
Karen, glad Lily is being a proper puppy, it is when they are too good you need worry that there might be something wrong with them.
Mizzy, have a good evening with your friends and hope the weigh-in went well.
I went to an Antiques Fair today and spent the money MIL had given me for my birthday, bought a lovely piece of Royal Doulton and also a piece of Goebel and a ring. DH thought I had done very well at the prices I bought them at. The ring was actually from him. It took me ages to choose what I wanted but I was really pleased with what I ended up with.
Food diary for today
Cereal and stewed blackberries
Cold chicken, 3 laughing cow trianagles and salad, nectarine
Grapes and Muller light during the afternoon
Mango chicken with beer sauce (Asda) - 2.5 syns, runner beans, carrots, new potatoes and melon. Small glass of red wine
Total syns 8.5

well my guests have now gone to get the little ones home and into bed, we've had a good natter and been sorting out the world!
weigh in was as expected and i've put on 1lb[msnembarrased] could have been worse and on my scales it looked more like 2 so i'm kinda happy with the one little lb[msneek]
Jill, i had that mango chicken in beer sauce quite a few weeks ago but i found it very watery, what did you make of it?
Julie, good luck for tommorow[msnwink] only one skiiny latte, OMG!!! girl are you not well or something?[msnsmile2]
so plans from tommorow, i am going to try my best this week because i really want a loss to celebrate that my children will be back to school next mon/tues[clap]
