I keep checking in between sunbathing sessions Julie. It is such a lovely day.
I think New Look are quite skimpy with there sizes but they do sell trendy pants and jeans for ladies like me with a larger but.
Back ou now to catch some rays.[msncool][msncool][msncool][msncool]

I can't lie out in the sun anymore, its really weird as I used to lay out all day, I get bored and itchy feet and need to do something[msnscared] So I am sitting on the deck watching the little ones in the pool[msnwink]

hello everyone
sorry i've not been able to get logged on for a while, been out galivanting[msnsmile2]
Julie B congrats on the weight loss[clap][clap][clap] and i wouldn't worry about fitting into clothes from new look, like the others have said theyare a little bit skimped on size (try next instead[msnwink])
Sally, hope the munchies are over and your back to normal today[msnsmile]
Fiona, glad to hear your still having a good time despite the footie and the shuttle launch being a washout
well i've had a mega busy day, it was my neices birthay so we've been to their house (about an hours drive away) for some birthday tea, nothing special the sis in law said and it turns out to be a big bbq with enough food to feed the whole village
now i've got to say this my daughter who's been hiding herself under her hair and clothes for the last year (teenage hormones) fell in love with a pretty tea dance/prom style dress, white with pretty pink flowers and after some negotiations she agreed that if mum bought it then it would be worn without tatty old fleece on top and with hair tied up off face and she agreed[msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2]
she looked really pretty and just like the little girly girl i used to know, it's a gorgeous dress and i asked if mum could borrow it when i lose more weight but she said no chance[msnsad]
food wise today decided to have breakfast with dh and the children on the patio as it was so nice , the children have had croissants and pain au chocolat, dh had croissants with smoked salmon and scrambled egg and i had toast and jam[angel]
didn't have lunch but made up for it on the bbq, i had a piece of chicken breast, some turkey and veg kebabs, quorn sausages and 100% beef burger (no bun) with salad and reduced fat coleslaw[angel][angel][angel]
then i spoiled it a little by having a slice of choccie birthday cake and a dollop of toffee pavlova on the side[msnembarrased][msnembarrased][msnembarrased]
lovely at the time but will be regretting it in the morning, in fact i'm regretting it now
[msnsad] dh has suggested lots of vigorous exercise to burn some of it off[msnoo]

I'm here after a mega-mega busy week!!!![msnscared]
I have looked in during the week but it's been a very quick log on-and-off.
Have been trying to finish a work project before my children break up from school this Wednesday but am sad to say that I still have a few days work left and another starting on the back of it(was hoping to have a few days off!) I will, however, be taking this Friday off[msnwink]
Have been a total [angel] for the last week and have lost 3 1/2lbs!!!!!(due also to a hard physical week as well) This means I am at last down to my target weight[msnsmile] and the weight I was before my last holiday.
I've just to keep it off now....which is easier said than done[msneek]

Well done Carole[clap][clap][clap][clap]
It'll be a while before I can say I'm at target but its going in the right direction.
Julie - thats why I go to Costco in Reading - their fruit and veg is fab, as long as its in the fridge, it will last for about 2 weeks and its still ok (not much longer though). The peppers I had to buy in tescos a couple of weeks ago only lasted less than a week before it was inedible! Good ol Costco (You can tell its american lol)
SPeak to you all soon,
Be good,
Julie B

Evening all, had a lazy day today.
Well done Carole. Be determined and it will stay off.
Dh went sailing and then he and his partner and his wife came back for a BBQ. Freshly caught bass brought to me by my friendly fisherman.
Spent two hours today down on the beach with the dog. It was packed so went off and found my own little corner where there were only three other people. The temperature has reached 84 here today. It is still 79 at 8.30.
Menu today,
cereal and banana
Quorn sausages and salad and cherries
BBQ'd bass and salad with jacket potato and then nectarine and grapes.
Plus two glasses of white wine - 10 syns.

Julie B I have a Costco near me and we are members so maybe I will give their fruit and veg a try - it does not contain lots of preservatives does it??[msnwink] I keep everything in the fridge, fruit, veg and even bread[msnwink]
Diary for me today......
porridge with fresh strawbs
skinny latte
mushroom omelette
muller lite cheesecake
chicken breast kebabs with paprika, salad a sw chips
2 litres of water[angel]
got melon and yog for later[msntongue]
3 mile walk[sporty][sporty]

well done Carole on reaching your target[clap][clap][clap]
Julie it may be that the food in costco hasn't spent weeks being shipped or in warehouses waiting to be placed onto supermarket shelves
i have to shop every 2-3 days for fruit and veg and i try to buy organic as much as poss, the local farmer will supply me with eggs and milk but the milk is all full fat so we just buy eggs from him, they are so fresh they taste unbelievable
need to say good luck for Paula's weigh in tommorow[msnsmile]keeping fingers crossed for you Paula[msnwink]
Mizzy

still slimming by default here.
Had fruit for brekkie.
Meat and veg for lunch.
Nothing for supper-then called at friend's and had big bowl of delicious fruit salad
Just had a cheese omelette now.
Spoke to a lady with MS today and she lost 3.5 stone in a year with SW-not bad when you can't exercise.
Been out on a ramble-was 29degrees here. My scooter broke down so transferred into my chair and had the opportunity to burn up some cals with pushing myself.
Still hungry.

Wow page 5 already! Hope everyone had a good weekend, just had a quick squizz back through the posts and everyone seems to have done well!
Glad you are having a great holiday Fiona!
Sat I had the 50th Birthday party to go to, I choose pumpkin soup and steak for a main, with veggies. I passed the Birthday cake over to a friend.
I ended up having a Baileys, as I watched the England game around their house, it started at 1am, and I got home at 4am. All were drinking around me, so I sipped my Baileys. I went home at 4.30am, and at 4.45 my 5 yr old started vomiting! So I was up with him, the rest of the night. He finally fell asleep around 1pm, and I lay down for two hours! It was a long night, and had I know what was in store, I wouldn't have stayed and watch the England game!
Yesterday I blew it further and had 3 choc chip cookies, mainly due to being really tired, and my resistance was low! I will post my food diary for yesterday, as a warning to all!
Food Diary
Breakfast: Slice of raisin toast
Lunch: Half a bowl of cereal - my stomach was rumbling, but I was too tired to make a proper lunch.
Dinner: half a piece of grilled fish, couple of sw chips and three choc chip cookes [msnembarrased]
I weighed myself.........stayed the same......t.t.o.t.m for me this week (plus cookies don't help AT ALL!)
