post i saw earlier

Hi I might be going mad but i saw a post earlier from someone (Cant remeber their name) who was going to florida and had booked a villa through an agent therefore did not know where it would be until arrival, i was anxious to read your relies again as my sister is going in 3 weeks and has booked the same way, i nearly did this myself but after joining this brill forum decided to book direct here, which i have, i am slightly worried for my sis, i did try to talk her around to booking here but she had already paid, i have searched all day for this post but cannot find it, does anyone remeber reading it?

She should be fine. There are many nice homes, which travel agents use. Many people book this way and have no problems.

Thanks newhomebuyer, i know its too late to worry now, but i just was concerned, i wish i had told her about this forum earlier, but i am sure now she will be ok.

I too was a little worried for friends who have just left on their holiday through one of these "all-in" travel packages. Although our friends knew which community they would be staying at, they didn't know which Villa until they arrived. From what I've heard through this Forum, these "unknown" villas have been fine and if there have been any problems, they have been quickly rectified so I'm sure your sister will be fine.

I'll let you know how my friends got on when they get back in a couple of weeks.

I would still rather book direct (through this site, of course[msnwink]) as I like to know where I'm going. I even managed to get aerial photos from the local Building authority for the last villa (don't ask me where I got them from, I can't find it now!!)

My sister arrives at the end of August and has been told she won't get the address to her villa until she arrives.
I'll keep you all informed on what happens.

Thanks all of you for your responses, i am sure she will be fine you have put my mind at rest, i am glad though that i have bookede my villas through this site.
