Mondays good to visit ?

We are visiting Orlando last week of October and had planned Universal Studios for Monday (Oct 25th). Is Mondays a good day to visit, or is there another day you would recommend (we stay offsite).

Also, can anyone tell me if the premium fast pass (at a costs) which allow you one visit to each ride without waiting is worth the price ?

We went to Universal Studios on a Monday on our recent visit and it while it was certainly not 'quiet', it was not busy either. I think Monday should be OK at any time of the year (allowing for the seasonal rush, of course).

But what surprised me is that Islands of Adventure was so quiet on Tuesday. I am not the only one to find it so. More than one other person on these forums has reported IoA being quiet on Tuedays. I do not know the reason, but why look at a gift horse in the mouth? Go to IoA on a Tuesday!

We did a Monday at Universal, on October 4th. The queues were huge, Wednesday and Thursday on the other hand were great with hardly any queues.
