Dollar Express

We picked up our car from Dollar on Sunday going straight to the express booth in the car park as usual. We were told that their system had changed and all dollar express holders should have been issued with new numbers. Also that the new system did not allow any external agent to add a dollar express number to a booking and their new system did not allow the agent at that desk to add our details as previously (although she managed it this time!). Therefore anybody not booking through dollar.com would have to go to the main desk in the terminal building to arrange collection of car. Have you heard this before?

We are due to collect through Dollar Express in a couple of weeks so an update would be helpful.

Any update on this issue yet? Can we collect from Dollar Express if we do not have new number?

I just heard back this morning. Now that Dollar have been taken over by Hertz, this will not be available in the form it is now (there may not be a replacement for it that agents can use).

If this is important to you, then I'd recommend booking Alamo with us as we can offer better options with Alamo than Dollar Express had.

Thanks Roger for the update. That is a pity as Dollar Express always worked well for us. I have just come back and have been logged in the site on my phone, which is how I posted originally and although other threads appear to have been updated I did not have any update on this post since Liz's post on 6/11. I have just logged off and logged back on again and several of the most recent posts are not showing - any ideas what is wrong, it i an android phone?

So Nicky, What is the update , please share as others might have the same problem ?

I'm not sure what to say as the forums are just a website and work in exactly the same way as all websites. I have not had anyone else with an issue and it always works perfectly gut me.

You might need to click Refresh to get the posts to update but that is the case on all devices and computers.

Really weird, logged off and logged back in again still not showing. Searched for Dollar Express and the posts showed, logged off and back in again and they are there.
