1983
The last time i went to orlando was 1983 with my mum and dad as a very excited 12 year old. We went 4 2 weeks and just about got to see all the main atractions. This april(Iknow it has been so long [msnsad] ) i am returning as a family man with my wife and my 2 girls aged 8+3 for two weeks. What i Would like to know is this, in 1983 we got to see all the major atractions in two weeks but now i think 4 weeks would'nt be enough(and the bank manager wouldnt be happy LOL) apart from WDW,universal, sea world and one of the water parks what other atractions(being so many ) would you consider a must do.

I still really like Busch Gardens. Then there is Kennedy Space Center if you think your girls are the space type who will enjoy this. The new Cypress Gardens wont be open in April and Splendid China has closed so I would say a day at the beach and a day shopping.
-
Does bush gardens have rides for the not so brave(not me honest[msnsmile2] just thinking of the girls)and could u recomend some smaller atractions not to be missed as there r so many to choose from in a very busy 2 weeks

You must do Universal Studios!! I think the kids and your self will really enjoy this park. And for sure a day at the beach should also be planned if you have never been to one as they are beautiful.

Our youngest always love playing Disney's mini golf - not so keen on the ones on the 192 and I/Drive as they seem to be the only places we have problems with mossies!

I would say that Sea World is a def must do and for toy shopping with girls that age it is also going to happen if you plan it or not lol [msnscared]go to KB Toys there is a fair sized one at Orlando Premium Outlets when you see the price of Barbie and the such like you will die [msnoo]I kid you not, Coca beach to see the surfers and go to Ron Jons Surf Shack I will have to stop now I could go all day and we wont be going back until next March[msncry] but then we will be doing 3 weeks with one week in Miami I am hoping [msncool]

Surely its GOT to be Discovery Cove!!Its a fantastic day out and yes its not cheap but what memories your kids would have up close and personal with the dolphins. My kids were 10&13 and they(and the wife) still talk about it and go every time we go over, ITS A MUST.[msnwink]

That's right Busch does have some white knuckle rides-but there are lots of other rides and attractions that aren't so hectic. There's the fantastic ice show, all of the animals and rides that are a bit tamer. It also has some excellent water rides-great for keeping cool on a hot day.

Yes , I would definately say try and visit discovery cove, it is expensive but the memories will last forever- I am going to go back again to snorkel with the stingray- never thought I would snorkel in my life!!- but because we'd paid the bucks I decided I had to give it a go - still can't get over how fantastic it was. Its my fortieth this year- so keep dropping hints!
