Cheeky upgrade

Just got back from a stay in Orlando and as usual I had the 7 seat SUV booked. I know they always try to upgrade you at the desk but this time the guy was being far more persistent than usual about getting me up to a Suburban (if I had loads of luggage I would have considered it but at the time it was just 2 of us with 2 medium suitcases so totally unnecessary).

In any case I politely declined and went out to collect the car, and I'm sure you can imagine my amusement when the guy in the car park says we don't have any Tahoes at the moment, is it ok if I give you a Suburban!

Very cheeky, almost got me to pay $350 extra for something that in the end I got for free!

Well done, we love getting a free up grade especially when the representative at the desk has been 'a nuisance' and given the hard sell.

Well done on the upgrade. We always have the 7 seater SUV from Alamo and have been given free upgrades to Suburbans a number of times. It is always nice to get something extra for no cost!

Thanks, yes I didn't really need the Suburban, the Tahoe would have been perfectly fine but it's always nice to get something for free!
